I'm so buns at this but I'll try to write her lore down :p

Lore

Pretty much a female version of Wemmbu when it comes to her mace skills, since Wemmbu trained her and all that. She used to be SUCH a close ally of Wem, like Eggchan levels of close. Until the two had a little fight (it was in fact NOT little) and they haven't been allies since. Before she was Wemmbu's ally, she was actually Flame's teammate, learning most of her normal PVP skills from him.

(Idk if this is against boundaries but lets say that Flame and Val kinda had a fallout once Flame developed feelings for Val but knew she didn't feel the same)

After all her training and jazz, she built a base in the farlands, to train without any distractions, as she says. But really, it's to avoid any outside contact, since most people gossip about Flame and Wemmbu. Okay so it's now canon she realizes her mistakes after capturing and trapping Wemmbu and Flame in the kingdom and falls off a building after giving all her spoils to them and the kingdom is free. But also canon that she can't really die and will be revealed later :3.

Appearance

Practically a taller Columbina from Genshin Imapact but with large wings, like some sort of angel. And instead of her hair being pin straight and with a mix of black and pink, just plain black and wavy hair from all her time flying.

Weird facts i guess

She can't cry, so she's seen as emotionally distant from others. Her true form literally has wings with eyes all over them and can only be shown when she opens her eyes under her blindfold lmao. Canonically dies (hc she builds a kingdom where she traps both Flame and Wemmbu in because she misses them since she went insane but she realizes her mistake and gives all her gear to Flame and Wemmbu including her maces and fucking jumps FALLS OFF A BUILDING). Yes she goes mentally insane in the future arcs, she just isn't showing it. Yes she has feelings for Wemmbu lmao. Yes the two were together. She's also like... Pretending to be a human/new to emotions or feelings. But even if she doesn't need human things like rest she sleeps the ENTIRE day off leaving wemmbu and flame bickering while she's asleep.

he’s been… wandering. not a better word found.

blood pours from his head, his clothes stained with it. he doesn’t want to think anymore. valerie’s gone. gone. he’s been traveling with nothing but his armour and his usual kit, a little food, but he hasn’t touched in days—maybe a week even.

his horn aches. his head spins. his heart trembles with despair as it crushes him from the inside out, his mind feels like it’s splitting into to two and maybe it is—

“you are so very useless huh?”

it’s his own voice that talks to him, but it’s not his voice. it’s more horrible, a sneering thing that screeches through his ears and makes him want rake at his skin until he is no longer flesh nor bone.

“what’s wrong with you?”

“you’ll never achieve anything in life.”

”you couldn’t even help the one thing you vowed to protect.”

”how could i be tied with someone so disgusting.”

”you’re useless.”

“…i’m useless.”

he mumbles—to himself as he trips over a tree root, his boot catching onto the bark and making him fall headfirst. he hadn’t caught himself, people don’t save useless things.

his head rings in circles, valerie spins like a music box in his head and for a second he hears something.

noise, probably music. trumpet like, almost. he wants it to stop. he claws at the sides of his head, groaning as the sound, sound, it’s all sound it sounds like—

he doesn’t want to hear.

there’s running. Valerie is running through the forest, she’s covered in scratches from the trees, though there’s no blood.

the sight of wemmbu on the ground makes her nearly puke. “W-wem! Goodness, I… I’m here, i’m back. Please, just stay alive.” Her breathing is ragged from the running as she pulls Wemmbu close to her chest.

“they were right, all mortals will die. death is inevitable. you can’t do anything to stop it.”

her mind is racing as she tries to think. she made it through a heavenly maze, she can think of a way to help.

“Please, Wem… i’m here.”

”no… no, no, no.” he shoves at her, effectively pushing her away as he stumbles upwards, “you’re not real…”

valerie was gone. gone, gone, gone. forever gone as he scrambled slowly through the forest, colors mixing like watercolor as he just keeps moving. all he needs to do is just keep moving. eventually, he’ll find a place that’s real.

right?

he doesn’t know, all he (?) knows is that he was so very very angry at himself.

for anything and everything.

how could he have let this happen.

evil, psychopathic, maniac.

the normal players were right about him (?). he never deserved love. it must’ve been his misfortune that brought this upon the people that he loves.

this is why he should have anything nice, the voice in his head screams, and he doesn’t know if that’s real or not. it rakes inside his flesh and buries inside his meat, infecting him and bringing his skin to a boil.

his love shouldn’t have ever been exposed to these people, so far above him like he was a demon, staring up at godhood.

isn’t it ironic?

his love can only be shown through distance.

for his distance is his devotion. (?)

"Wem if you could just listen, please just listen to me!" she begs, her knees nearly buckling right there on the ground. Her hands try to reach up for the blindfold, only to remember it was missing. If this form couldn't convince him she was real, maybe her other form can.

reality seems like a circus, clown mocking him and people booing and cheering and all sorts of things. people feel too altered and things feel too fake. was that always what he thought?

he’s walking on a tightrope.

balancing his shattered brain between him and… someone else, a fake who’s not all there and yet somehow whole. another him, like staring into a mirror with cracks where there shouldn’t be.

though he’s warm. warm as arms reach and surround him, safe as they keep him in one place. he’s not grounded, but he’s somewhere.

the fog in his head just won’t clear. it’s not like he can tell what it is in the first place, but it’s there.

and maybe, it could be real.

his head is lying to him!

"Wemmbu! Please, listen! I'm right here! Please... listen to me...!" Valerie fought through tears to speak to Wemmbu, burying her face in his shoulder.

Her blindfold was long gone, somewhere on a tree where it was caught. The multitude of eyes surrounded Wemmbu and Valerie, tearing up as Valerie was as well.

If only he knew she was real.

he mumbles, grasping at her clothes, hands weak but firm, clawing dirt onto her white clothes, staining it dirty.

“Val…erie.”

he whispers, much more sure of himself now, his mind still spins with colors he didn’t know existed, but his valerie is here, she’s here, maybe real, and he can feel himself coming back together at the seams, his fragile mind winding itself like thread
