Shrouds of Styx

"And thus, Shadows of the past walk with me. The past i knew once upon a time. It's all hazy, but i can only move forward, as to not fall within the darkness inhabiting me."

Some new art of Yilkras (my eliskni oc) i started working on a couple months ago. I then came back recently to finish it... And i can confidentely say that i'm proud of it!

New oc time! An eliskni from destiny because i really love them. I'm very much happy with the ref sheet designed by the artist! I can't wait to make and commission more art of them in the future!

Backstory (summary):

A defector of House salvation who's memories are "fractured", Yilkras is a darkness wielding eliskni capable of summoning shrouds of darkness based upon the vague recollection of other of their kin they have a glimpse of. It could be comparable to necromancy though this powers is based entirely on what Yilkras remembers instead of the deceased itself. Not much is known about their time in salvation but Yilkras is adamant on trying to remember it... Perhaps it is a source of great discomfort to them.

Due to an effect of their unnatural ability, Yilkras is in constant search of comfort. Both literally and metaphorically. They keep objects that bring them this feeling. And also like warm environment with the right temperature to bring comfort.

"A simple pixel animation to start this year's art fight. It was going to be simpler but i decided to add some details that people would say it's unnecessary (the shining name font for example). Took me more days than i thoughted to finish but i'm satfisfied with the final product.

If i was faster, it would have prolly not been the first revenge either hehe."

A remake of an old gift art i made for my friend years ago… Somehow, i drew this from memory. Feel like i've improved my skills as an artist since then! (even if i still have trouble with shading, hence i didn't shade that one)

Main Tank

Took too long to make this… But i finally finished this pixel art animation i'm really proud of. Using some tutorials about pixel art scaling and sub pixel animation, i was about to make this pretty cool sprite.

Had to simplify certain details… And that included the backpack with the other kriv i couldn't include due to size limitation
