This is going to sound absolutely insane for research purposes, but do we have a rough timeline of Josh's tattoos?

I've been putting together a tour document of sorts to list 'em all out for cosplay stuff since I want to make sleeves to cover my existing tattoos, but...am I crazy? I'll add photos later as I flesh this out, no pun intended.

General thoughts, unsure of specific order for most:

1. Tree/Moon AKA right arm sleeve

2. X with three sided box behind right ear

3. Heart with MOM in banner, inner left arm

4. Shaded Ohio with a red X in it for Columbus, below Mom heart

5. Coffee Pot, below shaded Ohio

Rest will be covered in reblog due to tumblr image limits on posts

8. [Matching with another musician] Snare Drum and sticks with same accents as on the Jim one

9./10./11. These are all on the same line per se, starting with dude in Debbie's handwriting in the middle flanked by an upside down stick man to the left and #27 to the right. The dude was first, not sure of order on the other two.

12. Tyler's name, in his handwriting from the almost Halloween show in Milwaukee on his left leg above the knee.

And now that I've got the count correct, I think I'm crazy enough to figure out a timeline of what ink Josh got when, or at least a rough order, then additional photos can be added as he adds more.

It's a little crazy to realize I likely have more overall ink on myself at this point but his right sleeve alone probably cost more than the entirety of all my work lol

But anyways - rough order I'll probably continuously edit as I get input from clikkies:

1. Right arm/shoulder sleeve piece is definitely first, done in at least two pieces, possibly more. Artist was John Greafe at HH Tattoo Co in Las Vegas, from this article. Started in 2012.

2. X behind the ear: April 26th, 2013 on at a Columbus show.

last october, a certain fan met tyler at Clancy Columbus and got previously unknown lore info. i already shared it with twitter, so i figured that the next step would be to share it with tumblr as well.

im not doing this out of malice. im doing it simply because i think its wrong to gatekeep things like this from other fans because you believe youre superior to them. i cant believe i have to clarify that, but there you go.

EDIT: since people are justifiably skeptical of this, i want to clarify that the reason i believe this conversation took place is because this person is well known for believing in "og clancy"/"tyclancy"/multiple clancys/whatever. if they wanted to lie about what tyler told them, they would have directly twisted his words, i feel. again, its absolutely reasonable to take this with a grain of salt, in fact i encourage you to, but those are my thoughts.

September 23rd 2025 was my second Twenty One Pilots show. I have no memory of my first due to trauma around that time in my life, so the show was bittersweet in a way I can't put into words.

Although our seats were seated pit in section 1, our view was obstructed for probably 90% of the show by cameramen on stage, security team or wiring/stage setup. Believe me when I saw we were pissed since we paid nearly $300 altogether for these tickets as they weren't marked limited or obstructed in anyway when they were purchased.

But I think the real fun was before the show, just bonding and trading with other clikkies.

This bracelet is one of the more nuanced things I received in a trade - I had been talking about the vinyl misprintings and errors with a couple older than me, and then she asked if I was trading - I had kandi up halfway up to my elbows at that point, so of course I said yes.

She handed me this bracelet - Redecorate, with trans flag coloured beads - this song, for years has been a metaphor for not wanting to off yourself because of what you're leaving behind to clean up, and said 'take this one, I feel like it's something you might need,' and then offered a hug.

When I tell you I *nearly* cried.

I gave her a yellow flowered Sahlo Folina bracelet in return, 'because that's what we call out when we need help and those that know understand.'

I ran back to my friends after, but I think that's a moment I won't forget.

So excited for Bangor next week.
