Hello gang!

very cool stuff from your france artposting, seems like a really cool development in your art style!! was curious if this was like a residency or something (obviously without enough detail to dox uourself)

It was a residency (that I won’t name drop for obvious reasons of course)! While I had a wildly productive time it was an entirely self motivated program and I ultimately could have made the same work if I had locked myself in my room for 3 weeks. I also got unlucky enough to be placed in a peer group with a uniquely racist middle aged woman who would dog on anybody under the age of 40.

The developments in my style came from forcing myself to work entirely traditionally for the first time since graduating. For folks that are interested in attending a residency program but don’t have the time or money to do so— I highly recommend working in a new and weird medium for a week as a budget friendly itch scratcher!
