The Unoffocial Tour || Adrien & Jace
Adrien was jumpy because of his run-in with the hunter, and his shoulder was wrapped in gauze underneath his t-shirt from the gunshot wound he had narrowly missed. To make it worse, the memory of the other night and how he had his first kiss with a vampire was on his mind. He was a mess, and now he had to show the werewolf Jace, who he also liked but now it was more complicated because of all this vampire crap, around the academy while pretending he wasn’t being targeted by hunters and hadn’t been shot by one.
He should have just stayed in the library.
He was reading up on his Shakespeare, a nerdy habit to impress people, when he heard the doorbell ring and he jumped to his feet. Checking his reflection in the hall mirror so he didn’t look scared or injured or emotionally conflicted, he opened the door and smiled.
"Welcome! As I predicted, there’s not many people here today. A lot of the girls are out on visits so it’ll be kinda quiet. Better than the usual though, so that’s good. How are you?" he asked as he stepped to the side, letting the man in.
Jace had meandered over to the Academy, after sleeping in until well past noon. Typically, the wolf was more of an early riser, but weekends were the days he chose not to set an alarm. It just felt normal, in a way, and being lazy wasn't always a bad thing, in his mind. So he'd gone about his routine; waking up, going on a run to expel energy, showering, and eating. Lots of eating. But, not wanting to be rude by procrastinating all day, he'd finally gotten himself over to the academy by two o'clock.
It was strange, approaching the Academy. He'd never been past the steps before, so as he rang the doorbell, Jace looked around, expecting someone to show him away or turn him into a goat or something. Perhaps he really didn't know much about witches after all. But soon enough, Adrien answered the door to Jace's relief. THe Headmistress, or whoever she was, seemed terrifying, and he'd likely not survive an encounter with her.
"Hey," he greated, smiling in return. "What, no one wanted to stick around to poke the token werewolf?" he laughed.
Jace walked in slowly, looking all around as he entered the house for the first time. "I'm doing alright, how about you?"
