Not 24 related, but The X-Files has been my current obsession, especially this past year. And as with some of my other show obsessions (Star Trek:TNG and 24) I’ve just had to make some sort of video. So here’s my “photo every episode” of Special Agent Dana Scully of the FBI. I wonder how Jack Bauer would get along in the X-Files universe and vice versa for Scully in the realm of CTU.

It gets me every time when I look back at Day 1 and see how young Kiefer Sutherland was then. And such a different character some could argue.

Yeah, I still remember my shock at this one. I don't think Jack's mind ever recovered after Day 8 events.... It broke foreva now after Day 9.

Ok, so because 24:LAD is now over, I've taken to rewatching Hannibal. I can't get over how good it is. For anyone looking to fill the hole left by 24, definitely check it out. They're really different shows, but both very solidly built around characters. The pace is much slower, but very well done and always pays off.

The only comfort I find in Audrey's death is that she didn't have to deal with Jack's surrender to the Russians. Not much of a comfort, but hey, I'm trying to reduce cognitive dissonance here! I know she must have been thinking about Jack in her last moments as she shed that tear.

Honest, I wish I could have taken this moment in when I first watched it, but I was still recovering from Audrey's death and her poor dad's acknowledgement that he wouldn't remember anything. I need to go back and watch it again because I LOVE THESE TWO CHARACTERS.
