You can also put your own personal thoughts about it in the tags! It lets the original poster know that you actually care about whatever they posted enough to share it with others. I promise this will not ruin your blog in any way, if only make it more "content"-rich.
Liking a post does absolutely nothing on this site, it doesn't push it to an algorithm nor does it help the creator in any capacity. Likes only work like your own personal bookmark and are more or less a notification for the creator, letting them know "I've seen this. I don't care about it in any other way though and I'm moving on now."
This is directly a response of sorts to seeing hundreds of likes on people's posts and only a few reblogs after scrolling through the fandom posts. The borderlands fandom is absolutely dead and one of the reasons why is lack of interaction with fandom creators. If you're someone who lurks and doesn't create, I need you to start actively enjoying the fandom otherwise you won't have any more new works to enjoy. It's the bare minimum you can do. If you like something, tell the original poster! Share it with others! Don't just passively keep it to yourself :(
