My favorite jacobi quote has got to be the whole “I was wrong and people died” speech. I love how it’s simultaneously his olive branch to kepler showing that he really would forgive him if kepler showed he was willing to change and also his own indirect apology

Not a quote, but all of Episode 53: Dirty Work is my favorite Jacobi (and Minkowski!) Episode.
Absolutely! So much of Jacobi's character comes through in that episode. He's so great at completely refusing to accept culpability for his own mistakes, and making that everyone else's problem.
And Minkowski really shines there too. I do wonder how the final arc of the story would have gone, if she and Jacobi hadn't made that tentative peace in that episode.

Hello, Jacobi fans!
We're going to start really planning the event over the next few weeks, and there'll be a prompt suggestion form, so people can submit ideas for what they'd like to see/create.
In the meantime, we'd love to promote a few Jacobi-centric fics and fanart pieces, so if you have a favourite you'd like us to share, send us a link, and most importantly, tell us why you love it!
We've got some great prompts so far, but not many of them. Don't be shy - all prompts submitted are anonymous, unless you sign your name!
Another fic rec: Can't Escape the Color and its sequels by BirdMonster, a series of incredible kepcobi fics. Not Jacobi-centric but still very much about him, and ft. top tier fucked up messy kepcobi. Very VERY high up on my list of all time faves in the fandom.
