Ted Cassidy’s window cameo as Lurch from The Addams Family with Adam West and Burt Ward as Batman and Robin in the Batman episode entitled The Penguin’s Nest, originally broadcast by ABC on December 7th, 1966. Batman and The Addams Family were both ABC shows, and Cassidy reprised his role as Lurch on Batman after The Addams Family was cancelled by the network (the show’s final episode had aired earlier that year on April 8th, 1966).
