Hitch x reader that keeps pranking hitch?

• It started off innocently enough to get his attention, such as leaving exploding confetti inside his wardrobe, squirting flowers during daily garden inspection, and even feeding Sparky different things to surprise Hitch with his magic

• Hitch felt like he had every right to be upset, but with how cute your laughter was everytime he was usually willing to let it slide :3

• Eventually some of your pranks started getting more elaborate (and maybe even personal 👀), for example you sent him on this wild goose chase around town, filled with clues and questioning civilians until the clues eventually led him to YOUR house

• To your surprise however once you opened the door ready to laugh at him as usual, Hitch chose that moment to confess, stating you didn’t have to get his attention when you already had from the beginning. Plus, Sparky really liked your company so things just naturally worked out 🤭

• While he initially had trouble warming up to you since you always blasted one of your rock albums in the middle of town, you couldn’t help but find it cute that you were usually the one pony he found himself talking to compared to the other cases he had

• Eventually you promised Hitch you’d buy an album that would be more suited to his taste, and sometimes you even offer to share your headphones with him as you watch his face light up at the familiar yet intriguing beat

• You eventually became somewhat friends after that, and you even stopped playing them out loud on the promise Hitch could listen to more with you :3

• He has a habit of burying his face into your long mane whether he’s stressed or tired, it’s oddly nice compared to the proximity you’ve shared before

• You even bought him one of those sleeveless jackets as thank you, and while he thought he would look ridiculous that made you think he was more handsome than he already was before

• Sometimes you even buy albums with positive messages in case the fillies nearby happen to be listening. Hitch might be finding you more handsome and worth all the trouble after that now 👀

• Thanks to Izzy being the one mare you were most acquainted with while growing up in Bridlewood, there was something in her that just thought it would be swell if she let Hitch hit it off with you next time he visited

• Though it…took a bit longer than expected since he honestly wasn’t sure what to make of your calm and chill demeanour at first

• You do find the sheriff’s company a riot though even if he doesn’t feel like he’s ready to partake in the same lifestyle as you yet. He can’t help but find it cute with the way you always snort-laugh at every accidental joke he makes, usually pulling him close for extra warmth while you ramble about all the little things on his face that you appreciate :3

• He’s a bit squeamish about letting Sparky near you, but surprisingly you two hit it off faster than excited and you were bloody amazed at the fact this dragon youngster already seemed to be living the good life as well with all the crazy tricks he pulled. Sometimes you even jokingly call him “son” while Hitch feels himself heat up with something that’s not just from lazy cuddles this time 👀

• He’s usually on your shoulder whenever things feel too overwhelming on your end. It doesn’t usually happen considering how chill you are, but it makes you even more grateful for his company regardless
