hi guys its been a few days and i've thought a lot. i genuinely enjoy writing and i dont see myself quitting even though it can be hard for me to find the time, motivation, and inspiration to write in the first place. however, i will be taking sort of a step back from writing and i will be changing my username, pfp, etc. as i mentioned, i will remove the mark stuff from my masterlist but i'm not 100% sure if i'll delete them yet especially since i put a lot of time and effort into them. istg these men have one more chance before i stop writing for them as a whole i'm so irritated.

also the apology that was issued was so lackluster. him hidind behind his company and then saying it was a "vintage shirt" while it didn't have a singular crease on it was so ignorant. "we tried to get it out of the photos" how about u just have him change???? even if there wasn't another shirt readily available there HAD to have been a way to get a different one/a way to just put a jacket on over it. not to mention he lived in canada/us for a damn long ass time.

you put your phone down, happy as clam while you went into your room to get ready for bed. you genuinely liked jaemin; he was so funny, caring, and romantic. it'd been a while since a guy checked all the boxes like he did. as you brushed your teeth, you imagined the dates you'd hopefully go on in the future, ones that'd be perfect because he made sure they were just for you.

you had a suspicion that your post would go over well, but you didn't think it would go this well. jaemin asking you out so early wasn't too far off from the person he seemed to be, especially with how bold he'd been already.
you debated whether you should mark and karina or if you should just let them be suprised when the time came. in the end, you decided to call the group chat.
mark was the first to pick up, karina shortly after. "make it quick yn i'm playing my game," mark said. you could hear him clicking away on his controller.
"did he finally ask you out?" karina asked. you nodded, a smile creeping onto your face. "he did."
mark took a quick glance at his phone, his tongue poking his cheek. "and you had to call us to tell us this because...?" mark said, clearly annoyed. the call went quiet after a moment before you broke the silence.
"because i have no one else to talk to about this i don't know," you said matter of factly. karina giggled a little at your response. "don't worry yn he will be all jolly after he gets his battle royale or whatever.."
"oh please i don't even play fortnite anymore," he scoffed. "i've upgraded to apex."
you and karina busted out laughing at mark's response causing him to pout a little bit. he left the call, only making you and karina laugh even harder. "oh lord, anyway's yn i hope you have a good time with jaemin tomorrow, where are you two going?"
"i'm not sure yet actually, he said we'd be getting lunch but he'll send me the place later..."
you and karina talked a bit more before ending the call to go to sleep.

by the time you arrived at the resturant jaemin was already waiting for a table. it was at this moment in time that you realized you'd never seen him in person. and it was safe to say he looked better than he did in his silly little tiktoks.
"jaemin?" you called out, unsure of what else to say. he looked up from his phone to meet your gaze, his eyes widening. "um hi.."
he smiled that beautiful smile of his, patting the bench next to him. "hi yn, how are you?" you sat down next to him, glad he wasn't as awkward as you were.
you and jaemin talked a little bit more before being seated. you ordered some drinks and started looking at the menus.
"this looks good," you said turning the menu around to show jaemin. to your surprise, he was already looking at you. he hummed in response, his mind clearly elsewhere.
"your hair looks cute today," he said absentmindedly before looking back at his own menu. you paused for a moment, unsure of how to respond.
"oh um thank you, i don't usually style it this way," you responded. jaemin seemed to really bring out the pick me in you, at least that's how it felt.
you and jaemin ordered your food, ate, and talked some more. he tried to flirt with you multiple times, leaving you flustered and unsure of how to respond. you'd been with a few other guys in the past, but jaemin made you feel different.
after your meal, you walked around the area together, talking as if you'd known each other for longer than an hour and a half. you walked by a small shop that caught your attention, and jaemin noticed when you looked inside longingly.
"wanna go in?" he asked, laughing a little at your expression. you nodded, and he followed you inside. the store was cute, a few plushies and other knick-knacks catching your eye.
"i really shouldn't buy anything but the stuff in here is so cute..." you picked up a plushie you were seriously considering buying, showing jaemin with a small pout. "just look at her."
he smiled, feeling the plushie. his hand brushed yours briefly, meeting your eyes after. "i can buy it for you if you want."
you shook your head, telling him that he already paid for lunch but he insisted on buying the stuffed animal for you. "yn, its not that expensive, don't worry pretty."
