you ever randomly think about a tumblr user who had such a presence and one day they just completely disappeared??? Like did they just get bored of tumblr one day? Did they die??? Boggles my mind

sometimes I remember about tumblr and then get sad about how much fun it was going through torrent websites to find the highest quality torrent for a movie or tv show (that was HELL) making an aesthetically perfect 5 set (540 x 300 dimension) posting it for all your favourite mutuals to look at and give a confidence boost in the tags then doom scrolling your home page looking at all the crystal clear gorgeous gif sets…. I truly miss the golden age of gif making and tumblr as a whole…. Sometimes I forget how many years I spent of my life on here daily and all the people that I interacted with along the way
