Sterling silver wire and labradorite. This is what I consider my breakthrough design. Structural, sculptural, and aesthetically pleasing.
Labradorite is from Madagascar, polished by me.

A pear shaped citrine, in a sort of tension-held setting, Not an easy feat with wire. The sterling silver has a feel of filigree that I have since incorporated into many of my pieces.
These are my first set of sterling silver earrings. They are frustrating to get perfectly symmetrical. They look great when it works though.

Arizona turquoise cabochon wrapped in argentium silver. Simple wrap and a wonderfully healing stone.
This is a charoite cabochon, origin: Russia. I polished the stone and wrapped it in sterling silver. No soldering, just wire. Check out Facebook.com/jakeishcreations
Larimar Is only found in the Dominican republic, it's white and blue colouring instantly reminds one of the ocean.
This tumbler is me finding even more digital real estate for the Jakeish jewelry empire. I am an independent jewelry designer who works in wire, as well as silver smithing and casting. My first love is rocks, and my jewelry was born from a desire to wear beautiful treasures of the earth in a beautiful way.
Message me if you have questions about what I do, or if you are a fellow artist, and if you might want a custom piece.
Enjoy, everything.
This is a yellow/green labradorite cabochon from Madagascar, I cut and polished the stone and sent 4 hours carefully wrapping this guy in sterling silver wire to create a complimentary framing for the stone.
Some people call Labradorite from Madagascar spectrolite, but they are the same thing, so do not be fooled
Malachite and argentium silver pendant
Yes Malachite was one of the bad guys from sailor moon but it is also the name of a stone that is found near copper deposits, which give it the lovely green colour.
This is an Australian opal that I cut polished and wrapped in about 30 feet of sterling silver wire. This was a custom pendant for a friend.
