About me
Hey everyone!!!!
My name is Jacob Jagta but most times I go by Jake, whatever is easier for you to remember is fine with me. Well to start I grew up in a small town most people do not even know exists by the name of Clymer, NY. If you hold up a NY quarter my house was in the exact south west corner of the state with the boarder lines of PA running through the south and west end of our front and side yard. I am not very tech savvy so this whole “Social media” idea is relatively new to my everyday life, and me but here goes. I will for the next year and beyond be using this platform to voice my thoughts, opinions, and plans for the future as I head off down the next portion of my “Mastery Journey”.
As I embark on this long and treacherous path to my final destination I plan on fulfilling a few dreams along the way. For starters I am attending Full Sail University for my Masters of Science in Entertainment Business so I go through my apprentice phase to absorb and learn as much knowledge as I can to really have the skills to move forward. A very wise man once told me “My Father” Son, you can never know to much about any one thing and the more about everything you know the further you can carry your dreams. That is exactly what I plan on doing and this is my road to mastery.
During my time here at Full Sail I am expecting to learn the art of leadership so I can focus on building the right team for my future business. Leadership to me is not just having the skills to be a boss; it is also having the knowledge to make you a part of the employee’s life like a father figure instead of a shot caller. One could argue being a good leader means you lead by example instead of words and should your employees fall you’re right beside them on the way down but you have the power and skills to stand backup together and learn from each other to make the right choices later down the road. That is also what I am expecting to get out of my time here, mentors that I can tailor myself to and observe the way these professors have handled situations so I can learn from their mistakes and misfortunes so there will be less bumps along my road. My whole hearted intentions on my path to full mastery is leave behind a legacy that will share my thoughts and ideas with each other all while trying to make this world a better place even if it is only one step at a time.
