And, at last, Peshawar! Quick catchup from the final main stop in my big Pakistan tour.
A few days late, maybe I'm getting tired of all this time on the road, but had to share the days spent in the Kalash Valleys!

Catchup from the last days on the insanely beautiful Hunza Valley.
Under the shadow of the Nanga Parbat, between Fairy Meadows and Astore Valley.
Time to leave Lahore. Some quick picks from the last few days.
I have a new site! I explain it more in the post, but I really hit a wall with the old one. Hope this one works better! Now I must rest, I have a flight early in the morning, but do take a look! https://www.joaopedroalmeida.com/en/posts/2025/06/a-fresh-start/
Another day closes, blissfully unaware of the brutal mess where heading to. The beauty of the countryside.
Catching up with some of the stuff I still hadn’t posted around here, all from my random walks around Lisbon.
Having a major blackout today in this corner of Europe, obviously I was waiting for nightfall for what I might get from my window. …and power returned just in time for me to take some shots!
Em tempos estranhos como estes, gritar liberdade é cada vez mais importante.
E que dia bonito foi hoje!

It's great that Nikon is open to vintage inspired cameras, but what would be even better would be lenses, and I'm not even talking about vintage look. A new take on AF-D lenses for Z mount! petapixel.com/2025/04/2…https://petapixel.com/2025/04/23/nikon-is-open-to-making-more-vintage-inspired-cameras/
One of my questions for my new photo website is whether having comments or not. A static website (how I chose to build it) will always require an external solution, I don't think a paid service makes sense and free solutions (like Disqus) are a privacy nightmare. Probably I'll go without it.
It's neither Winter or Spring…
