Media are forms of media that are native to computers, computational and rely on computers for redistribution. Some examples of new media are telephones, computers, virtual worlds, single media, website games, human-computer interface, computer animation and interactive computer installations.

There are different kinds of Age in New Media, the Pre-industrial Age, Industrial Age, Electronic Age, and the Digital Age

The first one is the Pre-Industrial Age or the Pre-Historic Age, Prehistory is the period of human activity between the use of the first stone tool 3.3 million years ago and the invention of writing systems, the earliest of which appeared ~5300 years ago.Technology that predates recorded history. History is the study of the past using written records; it is also the record itself. Anything prior to the first written accounts of history is prehistoric (meaning "before history"), including earlier technologies.

The second one the Industrial Age, The Industrial Age is a period of history that encompasses the changes in economic and social organization that began around 1760 in Great Britain and later in other countries, characterized chiefly by the replacement of hand tools with power-driven machines such as the power loom and the steam engine, and by the concentration of industry in large establishments.

The third one is the Electronic Age, The Electronic age is the invention of the transistor ushered in the electronic age. People harnessed the power of transistor that led to the transistor communication became more efficient.

And last but not the least is the Digital Age, Digital Age or Informational Age is a period in human history characterized by the shift from traditional industry that the Industrial Revolution brought through industrialization, to an economy based on information computerization.The internet paved the way advanced the used of microelectronics with the invention of personal computers, devices wearable technology. Moreover, voice, image, sounds, and data are digitalized.

The world of technology continues to change bring many changes. It can be quite confusing for students, especially when it comes to the news media. People hear news over the radio, television, and even their computers.Most technologies described as “new media” are digital, and often have characteristics of being networkable, dense, compressible, interactive and impartial. Examples are the internet, websites, computer multimedia, games, CD-ROMs and DVDs. Young people are attracted to the easy means of getting information with internet based terminals or hand phones which provide them information of their choice anytime, anywhere.

Both media platform serve the same target audience be it online, in print or broadcast. As mentioned, each form of media has an objective which is to disseminate a particular message and keep the masses informed. However, for those whom purposes resemble each other, they have same target audience to cater to and thus, garnering the same audience. They key success, if new media is to ever succeed traditional media, is advanced technology in internet. Although social networking through new media has increased crime rates, it is one of the shortcomings that can be eradicated. With technology, new media has definitely exceeded the abilities of traditional media as an advertising alternative and smoothened the process of gathering concrete information for news articles.

Old is gold. But that does not mean that new changes should be overlooked or even cast aside. It will be beneficial for RTM to tap ways to respond to the global financial crisis and changes in demand, so as to enhance its role in society.

The true meaning of success goes far beyond the common definition of success such as having a lot of money, being wealthy, having a lot of tangibles and earned degrees. Quite the opposite: true success in life cannot be measured with the above named factors, but instead with the amount of people that are able to live a better life and more advanced life because of what you created. This is the meaning of SUCCESS. Not the trophies people are collecting in their lives. Media and society let us often conclude that living a successful life means to be extraordinarily wealthy and have a lot of tangibles. But the meaning of success is to LIVE A HAPPY LIFE and to make this world a BETTER PLACE for everyone.

SUCCESS

To me, success means to have a goal, plan the steps to achieve the goal, implement the plan, and finally achieve the goal.

Being successful means the achievement of desired visions and planned goals. Furthermore, success can be a certain social status that describes a prosperous person that could also have gained fame for its favorable outcome.

Success provides confidence, security, a sense of well-being, the ability to contribute at a greater level, hope and leadership. Without success, you, the group, your company, your goals, dreams and even entire civilizations cease to survive.

Success

Achievement of an action within a specified period of time or within a specified parameter. Success can also mean completing an objective or reaching a goal. Success can be expanded to encompass an entire project or be restricted to a single component of a project or task. It can be achieved within the workplace, or in an individual's personal life. For example, if an individual's personal goal is to be accepted in a new career, success would occur after the individual  has been officially accepted into his or her new place of employment.
