What's Narinder's No. #1 fantasy in regards to the Lamb? I bet it's kneading them like a walking carpet.

Kneading is definitely in there, but he never goes too far in fantasies. The basic and small things (conversations, brushing of fingers) are usually what he stays awake at night for. Also depends in which AU I suppose. But you know what, if he's reeaaally adventurous, I bet he might start thinking about shearing. 'Cause that wool is the most wonderful thing, but also, oh dear, what's under it?

“No, you… Kind of are,” Kylie muttered, before they turned towards him. “I…”

He knew this expression on Kylie’s face by now. The gentle worry written around his eyes, easy to turn into a stressed grimace, but now slipping into hesitation. A conflict behind their eyes, as they thought about something they really didn’t want to do or say. Narinder waited, slightly worried by the anticipation, until the sheep finally didn’t move.

For some reason, time felt like it flew more slowly.

The officer’s hand resting between them. The soft hum of the AC, the gentle smell of leather. The quiet hanging between them, when Kylie stared at him with something that looked like a deeply stubborn intent.

A… worrisome intent.

Narinder crooked his head again, this time pulling a cheeky smirk.

“If you want to tell me you fell in love with me, wait until you hear how badly my wife will strip me in the divorce,” he joked.

If you could have your Lamb and Nari interact with any other AU’s, which would you do a crossover with?

I don't know that many AUs from the fandom, I'm a recluse! But I'd be intrigued for an interaction with @olrinarts ' Lamb and Nari. In most of the short fics, their interaction are getting to a very healthy and awesome place and I think my characters could learn a lot from that (not counting Chimes of Bone, I'm not up to date yet don't spooooil meeeeee). Also the Rock AU is great and so different, that would be a fun clash. Also Ashes Ashes! AH, so many!

An interaction with @thewitchoftheweed' from A Cowpoke's Sweetheart would be hilarious. I think my Nari would be very confused (intrigued, obsessed) with a Cowboy Lamb.

I'm still discovering @baaahaus ' AUs, so I'll have to do a second answer later, but Eurobleat's Lambert (Kylie) and Narinder would be very strange to mine, since they are in a "normal world, no deity" AU, but the way Kylie handles a gun would definitely put my Lamb in a quiet but petty jealousy fit.

A jump in The Rehabilitation of Death universe would cause chaos, 'cause there is no way my Nari wouldn't fall head over heels for @bamsara ' s Lamb. Their Lambert is weirdly sweet and charming, and to have to deal with TWO Lambs would be too much for my Narinder and his very reduced emotional capacity.

Alsoooo, a little meet with HotChocolateDemon ' s Narinder in Ichor Betwixt Mortal Palms would be great. This Nari is quieter, calmer, but pinning just a much, and both cats could probably find some common grounds (and be each other's confident).

I have like 2 or 3 other AUs in mind but I'll need to gather my thoughts. I also wish I had more free time to read, I'm probably missing tons. I'm late on half of the AUs above, but every little minute I get, I'll eat all the crumbs I can. This fandom is freaking awesome.

Oooookay, I took a little month off from work and the comic, but now I'm ready to go back in again and enter boarding/sketching and cleaning mode. Got all my reference BGs, all my locations, I am Locked. In. Part 6 is going to be fun.

What is the lore behind the modern au how much does everyone remember?

I think the idea started from the Alternative Game Ending. I was like "oh but what if Narinder is a dense idiot (like, a bit more) and decides to stay bitter and sad for eternity and never resurrect Lambert. But then, what happens to the life of a God? It's infinite, but time changes. Eras, eons of years blend together. With or without the gods influence, the old times change to modernity, inventions, progress.

And then yeah. I thought, Ok, Narinder has been SAD for so long now. Took him ERAS to soften. And then his siblings, with the ideas and danger they represent, would actually come back. 'Cause chaos never disappears. Pestilence either. War, Famine, they all stay around, but transformed. Maybe tamed, humbled, waiting for their moment. All but death. Who still lives strong. And is sad AF.

And well, yeah, now, do souls are then born and born again somehow? And even if they are, are they still the same? What does make the soul anyway? A mix of nature vs culture?

Philosophy aside (thanks Shamura), Lambert (or the idea of!) comes back somehow, and Narinder is still a hot mess but one that had time to come to terms with the fact that he is, yes, in love with a sheep, and also, Oh I was an idiot, oh no.

In my mind, despite the angsty premise, I think this AU would be very light-hearted and sweet. Kind of like a coffee-shop AU. Something comforting, with mostly just little snippets of Narinder being awkward as hell and Lambert being patient, confused and somehow weirdly charmed. They also might remember some past memories, but Narinder doesn't want them to. 'Cause the life they got now is much better than the horrors or the past (and the past Him).

Yes, I have a thing for Nari pinning for Lambert. It's my entire genre apparently. 乁( ◔ ౪◔)ㄏ

Lambert would be the first flirt I think, but not the biggest. Yeah that's... Narinder is. Definitely. Type to build you temples kind of flirts. And make statues of you. If that counts as a flirt.

(A later in the narrative Narinder would be ANNOYING at showing (never telling) his Lamb to everyone, every new God, every stranger of importance. Annoying.)

Also, no pet names from him. He never uses names in general, so using one's given name is kind of a special treatment and rare in itself.

(Lambert will use pet names only to pester him. Usually alos to win an argument by rattling him. The cat makes funny faces when they do use pet names. It's hilarious)
