Floating Away
I havenāt written for a while as itās kinda been one thing after another. You know how life is! I was struggling with a flare up last time I wrote, and here I am, still in said flare. So while I was housebound, I started to make my dad a memory book, with photos from his childhood right up until today.

Dad Goes Missing!

Day 4 ā Bank Holiday Monday.
I rang the hospital this morning to see what time dad would be able to come home. They said they were waiting on some test results and then the doctor would be able to discharge him. I explained that mum was going that afternoon to visit, and they assured me that he would be ready to leave by then.
So heās coming home!! š

I visited my dad again this afternoon, and he was a lot more agitated than usual. When I arrived he was sitting on the edge of his bed with his shoes on.
āHave you come to take me home?ā his eyes pleaded.
āNo. One more night dad and we can take you home tomorrow.ā
āWhy? Why do I have to stay tonight?ā
āThe doctors want to keep a check on you; make sure youāre better.ā
