“Unless you’re a gymnast talking about a leo that you personally were made to wear, I don’t wanna hear ANY of y'all complaining about leotards being too revealing or saying you can’t fathom how a gymnast could possibly feel comfortable with half her butt cheek out. Like how tf would you know?? Plenty of people either don’t care or actively like to show their bodies! Just because you would feel embarrassed doesn’t mean you get to project on the gymnasts or say their bodies are distracting. Ffs”

Saying this as a former gymnast, but there is a difference between “revealing” and “Wow that’s so ill fitting, that it’s riding up” or “Hey look, Miss Val literally made it a rule that you can’t wear a bra, and have to tape, which is no where near as comfortable and doesn’t give you the same kind of support”/That one time UCLA had a training leo that was so ill cut it pretty much showed side boob.

Also there’s a big difference between a gymnast choosing to get a smaller size or hike up her leo, and a coach picking a revealing design that their gymnasts can’t opt out of.
