NEXT TO YOU

Ever since, advisers arrange the class alphabetically. The very reason why I became next to you and you next to me.

I sat next to you everyday for the previous nine months and within the numbered days, I cant help but to be thankful because we became the closest of friends. We shared laughters, doubts and even answers during exam ( don’t play to be innocent). We even argue at which pronouns to pick, solutions to make and most of all, we always argue at snacks we hide at our bags and eating it without sharing. We never miss a lesson without chatting or just discussing how boring it was and just doing some catching ups.

When quarterly assessments come, we got each other’s back to pat both for great job and some more efforts

. I still remember the very first time I gave you a hug because we got too excited for the good grades we both have. And just a week ago, we both gave each other a hug just because we’ll miss each other for this two week studycation.

We also got each other to blame when you copied the wrong answer from me or vice versa and we’ll both say “ANO BA NAMAN YAN” and will both promise to burn the midnight oil.

We grab the same rag, brooms and mop the next day for cleaning and we both cram for speech choirs, dramatic reading and jingles. But at the end of the day, we still sit next to each other still giving each other the same genuine smile.

It’s just heartbreaking that next school year, there will be someone else next to us. You’ll take STEM and I’ll be under ADM. But I’m pretty sure that we can manage to bring this friendship to the next year and another and another.

I'll forever be thankful having you beside me through thick and thin. I want you to know that you can count on me whatever it takes not just illegal things though 😉.

Dark, White or Sweet

Which one is your favourite?

It has been a year full of different spices.

Walking into 2018 is like holding an unboxed choclate. Ignorant of what its like and what it tastes like. Everyone wonders;

Would the year be as dark as the chocolate

As sweet like it has always been

As pure as the white one

A year as a dark chocolate

desolated and recesses . We might just past the year with thisor that. We bacame so sacred of all the things that might and might not happen, becoming someone we doesnt even know. Afraid of being trapped in a maze that used to be a home of ideas to a maze that traps us desolated from the world around us. we might become afraid of certain changes that we need. We might be affrighted to lose anything, everything. we might be disappointed for not getting the latest iphone. devastated of having an 74. Losing our dog and cat. Breaking the tempered glass screens.

damaging our laptops. Being scold by the teachers. not havung the gift you wanted. breaking yp with your boyfriend. Mispalced you 70 pesos worth gtech. Ruined a friendship and does everything just the opposite the way it should be.

The year as a white chocolate. In this we became so blessed with everything. Passing every single problem and stress like every single vehicle in a rocky road. Our year might start with the gifts weve been wanting for the longest time. Buying a new car. Being hired in a corporation. Getting your family back together. Availing for a rolex watch. having a 99+ in the NCAE reults. Praised by your terror teachers. Traveling abroas. Having a treat with your teacher. Laying on a white sand beach. Graduating. and youre like riding a boat with no waves to trouble with.

and of course, the year as a sweet milk chocolate. when everything is not too bad, not too good. It tastes sweet that blend with every bitterness, sourness and spice of the world. It is full of love of people whom you love, you trust and you cherish the most.

that even you fail to pass the exams.

you lost your iphone.

had been bullied and heartaches.

It is their love care and warmth that kept you living every single life of misery. And celebrate every single day in your triumphs and achievements. Youre with them every single portrait in your birthdays, feasts, graduation, weddings and anniversaries.

For me, I would always choose my year to ba sweet milk chocolate. Full of adventures, triumphs, horror and sorrow but with everyone you love there behind you cheering up every fall youll have. I will always stand up with them and for them. always.

When you truly care for someone, your feelings never change because it is the mind that gets angry but the heart sill cares.

Scrolling down my news feed in a warm and sunny day is a perfect example of a bask. But seems like I stand to be corrected. I guess its not perfect. Not as perfect as before.

Have you ever felt of lying down, feeling and claiming that everything is fine but something is bothering you inside?

Everything was perfectly fine until I saw a post a year ago. Two girls who used to be almost sisters, who used to be very close to each other and who use to be bestfriends. USED TO BE.

Im with someone with the brightest of eyes, smartest of minds, wildest of dreams, kindest of heart and above all I am with someone who taught me that life wasnt just what it looks like but rather a portrait made out of bits and pieces of wonders and colors.

Thank you for making me feel special even if I am not. Making me happy whenever I feel Im not. Thank you for letting me the person who I am and thank you for being my friend.

I just miss the old times when we used to talk everydayeven until 2 in the morning . You never got tired of my weird dreams and realizations. I'll miss and thank you for the every seconds of time we had as bestfriends but I guess, Im starting to believe that forever doesnt really exist at all. Because ours didnt.

It pains me to see you with someone else just because of something in the past that broke everything into pieces. But I guess youre happier now cause I know your smiles are wider than ours.

I hope youll find forgiveness in your heart my friend. Until then I'll smile to hide the truth that were happier with you. Happy new year😊

WAKE US UP

Wake us up of this nightmare. Wake us up of this wrong belief. Wake us up of this nonsense and and wake us up to make it seize.

A dream of SWEAT. I dreamt of a young man crossing streets, climbing walls and running as quicly as he can . Running from a man with black boots, blue uniform and a shining badge. I cant help but stare for the mans shirt was quite familiar.He was running too fast that his orange shirt turned darker and darker. Showering with his own sweat, the man cant help but wipe his sweat causing him to run slower and get distracted.

As he opened his eyes. He saw a large wall facing him. A wall that tells him to stop. A wall that tells him that he is dead. And that it is the end. For its a dead end.

A dream of BLOOD. Innocent soul have been ripped off from his living bodies. Leaving his family hopeless, leaving justice unserved and leaving his true story untold. I heard a gunshot and the sudden fall of the young man on his knees. More gunshots were heard until the man was laying down facing the large wall . The man in the uniform sighed for his job is done.

Thick red, blood startes to spread from his chest all over his shirt and started to cover the cement flowing under the man in the uniform's shoes for his deaths evidence. A key for justice. For a true justice.

A dream of TEARS. Tears came flowing from his eyes. Hell never get a chance to see his family, again. Hell never get home, again. Hell never clear his name of what he is accused of. Hell never tell the truth the reason he escaped from prison. Hell never tell everyone who the real enemy is.

We are all trapped in this nightmare. Cluless of how to wakeget up. But some people just chose to stay. Choosing this nightmare to be their reality. They chose to have crimes as their meals and live their lives as lies. Our world has changed a lot. From a world that has land masses and waters to a world full of BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS.

Can someone wake everyone in this nightmare? Wake us in this wrong belief. Wake us from this nonsense and can someone wake us up to make this seize?
