Reunions & New Beginnings (10/26)

By the time the director actually called “cut” the actor was distracted so he didn’t really notice the people around them breaking a part to go off and do their own thing for a bit instead he was just messing a bit with Jared before turning his attention back to where he saw Janel. A smile soon formed on his lips as he noticed her making her way over to where they are. He raised an eyebrow slightly as he watched the way she was approaching him and waited until she was close enough before taking her up in his arms lifting her slightly off the ground. When it came to people that were smaller than him he couldn’t help but just lift them a bit. When he heard the sound of her voice he raised an eyebrow once more “hey” he said simply as he examined her face as he thought about what he was about to say next “how you doing?” he questioned. He knew that the show she has been working on for some time now was coming to an end and that whole experience of having to end a show and let go of a character you have grown attached to could not be easy for anyone. As she took a step back away from him he let his hands slide into his pockets as he glanced between the two of them before returning his attention back to her. He took a moment to think about what he was going to say and decided to just go with it anyways “Don’t worry I already told him to make sure he doesn’t crush you” he said as he tried to just shrug it off before letting out a bit of a laugh.

The actor shifted his weight from one foot to the other for a moment. He took a moment to glance over his shoulder before returning his attention to her “I would say close your eyes or I’d cover em for you so nothing here is spoiled for you but…” his voice trailed off for a moment as he shrugged his shoulders “that could be bad for all involved” he said with a slight smirk. When she asked about how long they have been on set he tilted his head to the side a bit as he glanced at Jared for a moment before looking back at the actress “it feels like we never left but we got here…at some point this morning” he said with a shrug “this morning is all a blur actually” he said simply. He took a moment to think over the schedule for the day before he spoke up again “If you wanted to do something, get something to eat..” he said before continuing “I don’t think we should be doing too much today, so it really shouldn’t take long” he said before making a motion towards where Jared is standing “but it all depends on this one here” he said rolling his eyes as he tried not to laugh. A part of him was unsure of what to do since he never really got visitors up to the set so when someone did take the time to come up he wanted to make sure they wouldn’t have to sit around waiting for things to finish.

A small smile formed on the girl’s face when he asked how she was doing. She knew he meant how was she holding up, which she responded to with a slight nod and quiet, “I’m alright, better here.” She looked around for a moment, kind of just in clarifying that she meant not being in LA was doing her good. Distracting her. The small smile grew as she held in quiet laughter at Jensen’s next comment. At the mention of having the show spoiled for her, she rolled her eyes still laughing silently. “I promise, I can keep a secret,” Janel held her newly tattooed finger up to her mouth doing a ‘shh’ that was partially a poke at herself in reference to the show she’d just wrapped, but also the honest truth. It was also a little bit to show off her new ‘M’ tattoo, immortalizing the ‘shh’. As the actor explained that he wasn’t entirely sure how long the day had been so far, she scrunched her nose in fully understanding of days blurring together. In fact, she was lucky she even knew what day it was so she knew what he meant. At his offer to grab a bite to eat, she wasn’t quite sure if he meant them or for herself. However, she took it as them leaving the set at some point, “we can, I brought Klee. She’s at the rental, hopefully not destroying the place. If you have the time we can pick something up and go to the house. Or we can go to dinner if you’re done early enough..” She figured options were better, continuing, “I’m all good with just hanging out.” As a fan of the show, she had to admit she was curious about the happenings around set enough that she could surely steal a PA for the rest of the afternoon and be entertained exploring. Or napping in a dressing room, in true Janel fashion. However, she knew a tour was probably something he’d like to do himself, so she did throw the nap idea out there as well in all seriousness. The tiny brunette couldn’t help but laugh as he put it on Jared, when they’d be wrapped for the day. She glanced over at the taller of the two men with a laugh, perhaps already a little too comfortable as she spoke up. She stepped back toward Jensen, wrapping her arms around him. “Either way, as soon as you’re wrapped for the day you’re all mine.” She dragged out the ‘mine’ in her well known excited baby voice that she somehow believed made her sound not only happier but made her a little more adorable.

Reunions & New Beginnings (10/26)

Between filming and bouncing around to different conventions the last couple of weeks everything has been revolved around the show. Moving between Vancouver and wherever else the conventions are didn’t leave enough time for anything else except for working and possibly getting something to eat and maybe be able to get some sleep in. Even though he should be focused on whatever he was doing at the time at the back of his mind he couldn’t help wonder if Janel would actually be making a trip up to where they are in Vancouver since at this point no one really put Vancouver on their places to go list.

The night before was one of the longest nights of filming but it wasn’t anything new to everyone involved but also no one complained when it actually came time to pack up for the day. Since they had a late night one would think that they would get some time before having to go back to set but they also had a early call time. Jensen was in between scenes when he got a text from Janel saying that she was going to be showing up at some point. Since he now knew that she was actually going to be showing up he found a couple different people on the set to let them know someone would be showing up and where to bring her whenever she actually did. Whenever they had to film scenes when you only see one of the guys face was one of the times where people actually stopped and wondered how they even got a show done around here since whenever you weren’t on the camera the goal was to do anything to distract the one that was being filmed. Those kind of things mostly ever occur when Misha needed to get scenes done and some people have learned over the years to keep certain people away when they didn’t need to be seen. Jensen didn’t really need to do much during this scene so he just shifted a bit as he tried to keep warm and as he did so he noticed Janel out of the corner of his eye. A slight smirk formed on his lips as he waited for the scene to finally be finished and once it was he whispered something to Jared before glancing over where she was.

The actress knew well enough to stay quite as she observed the boys film, sipping the last of her coffee as she waited to catch Jensen’s attention. Hearing the director’s “cut!” for the scene gave Janel the okay to make her presence a little more known. As people disbursed for the time being, she waved over at Jensen, soon also catching Jared’s attention who she simply smiled over to. The tiny brunette took a moment to ensure the okay to approach, immediately heading straight for Jensen with her arms held up for a hug. Janel had a habit, though she wasn’t quite aware of it, of hugging up, only to be lifted up off of the floor squealing in response. A raspy “hi” came from the girl, who at better inspection looked and sounded like she’d clearly spent a day prior in tears. However, her excitement was quite evident, and maybe it was because of the emotionally overwhelming past 48 hours, but she held on just a little longer to that hug than she probably should’ve before taking a step back and greeting Jared as well. The girl just wanted, needed, a break from the draining experience of wrapping Pretty Little Liars less than 24 hours prior and being surrounded by fresh faces had instantly brought up her mood. The change in environment was already doing her good, just the little less than an hour she had been there. 

The girl knew better than to be overly clingy particularly in public, so she stepped back some just to avoid the option. Not having seen any of these people in months, she was a little curious about the current happenings on the Supernatural set. Admittedly, she hadn’t caught up on the current season filming but was trying to figure out exactly what was happening from the little bits she was seeing. Turning her attention back to Jensen, she started the conversation by asking how the day had been going so far. “How long have you all been here?” she asked, assuming they’d been working since the early morning. She wasn’t quite aware of their schedule for the day but even if they had a late night tonight, Janel planned on spending most of the day around just hanging out as she didn’t have very much else to do in the area. Nor did she have much of a desire to do much out around town on her own.

Reunions & New Beginnings (10/26)

Janel had been busy with filming the series finale of the show for weeks now, leaving her with little time to do much outside of work. She had however made plans a month prior, to fly up out to Vancouver to go visit Jensen. As soon as she wrapped, she knew she’d be not only available to fly up, but probably in need of company as she put that chapter of her life behind her. Upon an emotional goodbye to her character, and second family, the actress was set on leaving Los Angeles. At least for a few days, before she was set to return to spend her birthday with family and friends. 

It was late night, technically the early morning hours, when the tiny brunette landed in Vancouver. She had spent one last emotionally exhausting day on set, immediately leaving for the airport after arriving back to her house. Having packed prior, Janel simply called a car to drive her to the airport and packed up Kleo who she would be taking with her. Landing in Canada, she found her way to the AirBnB she was renting for the few days she would be in town. Having the dog with her, it just made more sense over a hotel. It was late, she figured she’d have to be up in a few hours anyway so she very quickly changed into fresh pajamas and headed to bed with Kleo. Grabbing her phone, she looked at the time. 3:42am. She wasn’t sure what time Jensen’s call time was that morning and didn’t want to wake him in case he was sleeping. Janel figured with Kleo likely waking up before 8:30, she’d be up early enough to settle in and let him know she had arrived before dropping in to visit him on set. 

Sure enough, Kleo was up for the morning around 8:15, waking up Janel to take her out and play afterward. That was when she texted the actor to let him know that she had in fact arrived in the country safely and would be dropping in on set sometime in the next few hours. After some quality morning time with the pup, Janel showered and got ready for the day. It was already winter in the city, as far as she was concerned. Something the girl was neither fond of nor made for. Bundled up so she wouldn’t get sick, the tiny brunette arrived to the set a faux fur vest and leather jacket over a ribbed long sleeve top, with knee high black suede boots and blue jeans. Upon clearing authorization as a visitor, she found her way around as best she could before finding a PA to lead her directly to find Jensen. She was very well aware that the boys would likely be working, so she made her time greeting actors she had met previously who were not currently in front of the camera before sneaking in for coffee at craft service as she waited on the sidelines for the scene to finish so that she could go interrupt and greet both Jensen and Jared.

And with that, I'll take my opportunity to say my goodbyes. 

As one of the longest remaining members of this group, I want to take this time to thank the admin for making the last two years memorable and enjoyable. This group was one of the only groups where I felt instantly a part of a family. I've made friends that I hope to keep for a long time, and this was my home to escape for a long time. Most people didn't see all of the behind the scenes in running this group, so I can say that Veronica, Bri, and Lauren, you three deserve so much more credit for making this place as great as it became. 

Specifically Veronica and Lauren, I wanna say thanks for putting up with me both IC and OOC. I've never had friends so eager to ruin their characters with me lol specifically you Lauren, no one said after Shaynessa you had to pick up two characters to make me shut up haha! But really thank you both. #married and the trainwreck will remain some of my favorite problematic messes to see play out. You both were also there for me OOC, whether I was bugging at 3am about plots or about real life shit I had happening. Who thought we'd end up here two years after I just so happened to see Shay was open after weeks of waiting to join as her? I love you guys. On the other hand, Bri I know we grew apart and had our differences but I want you to know that I love you too. You always provided amazing contrasting characters to mine to always keep things interesting. #parrishhough will always be a favorite of mine that stands out, we had fun. You were also there for me OOC when you could be. So thank you.
