How to spend your lesure time.
I have seen a video once, I saw it on Facebook and now I have finally found it. I can’t watch it normally, I just burst out of cry and start crying. A school leaving party
So, now the exams are done, the school is over. Everybody got their diplomas with marks. Now it’s time to have some rest with teachers, parents, friends, mates, so, we went to the restaurant. It was so cool! There was such a nice programme of our evening with differents competitions for everybody! We danced a lot of time, the music was really loud! so, I have got some photos and I just share it with you

Hey, guys. I hope all of you have known of the 9 of May, this is the day of the 70th victory of the Second World War. It is a big day for Russia. Everyone has an own family story about their relatives. They remember them, tell the stories for their children, give the heritage to next generation….
History always teaches us something and prepares us for the future.
My great grandmother on my mother’s side died in a concentration camp in Auschwitz, and my grandfather fought as part of British Indian troupe during world war 2, so the WW2 history is quite close to me.
It is great to be reminded about Russia’s contribution. It also gives us lesson for future that the philosophy preached by Hitler and other SS officials were not something to subscribe to. In recent years, there is an increase in Neo-Nazi groups across the globe, even in Russia while Russia suffered the most in World war, as you pointed out.

Robin, the purpose of my post was not to criticize you but only to display some historical facts that medias avoid to show, the winners are not always the good ones and the losers are not always the bad ones…I think that those who won the second world war made the world worse not better

Jenny, If the nazis won the war I think the world would not be better than it’s today, the nazis followed a racist ideology which considers the aryan race as a master one. Russia was in the right to defend itself against nazi agression, but what I don’t like about that war is the disproportionated reaction of the allies when they were close to win (bombing of german civilians, throwing of 2 nuclear bombs over hiroshima and nagazaki, rape of german and italian women and children, etc.).
After that war, the winners ruled the world as if it was their own property, the united nations were nothing but only their spokesperson, many new troubles emerged (cold war, invasion of afghanistan, war of vietnam, arms race, wild capitalism, genocide of palestinian people…), so as I said the winners are not always the good ones.
Ok, I see. I can say that a lot of citizens of Soviet Union were raped as well. People always make a lot of mistakes, but the worst thing that we don't count it as the experience and start blaming each other for the results we get.

The greatest day in Russia
Hey, guys. I hope all of you have known of the 9 of May, this is the day of the 70th victory of the Second World War. It is a big day for Russia. Everyone has an own family story about their relatives. They remember them, tell the stories for their children, give the heritage to next generation. So I want to tell you the story of one of my relatives. He was my father's uncle. The uncle had a rough life during the war and after it as well.
He was in a camp, but he had a chance to run away from there because one German soldier helped him. After some time the uncle was a partisan so that German soldier was in a captivity in the uncle's place so he saved him as well. After the was the uncle went to German and met that soldier, he became the major of a town, he brought him clothes, presents for his family, invited him to his house. when the uncle came back to USSR he was sent to a camp in the Siberia. After the war it was prohibited to have any contacts with Germans, those who contacted were the enemies of USSR. Such a rough and crazy time.
I am very proud of my country and at the same time I am sad about the today's events. People don't want to know the truth, they believe in lie.
Please, study the history not to get the tragedy again. Official facts say that 26,6 millions of people of USSR died in the war, 18 millions of them of the citizens. But it is only the official facts. Some historians say that 20 millions of 30 countries were in the concentration camps and 12 millions of them did not survive.
It's so wrong to try to change the history.

Vocabulary: waste, pass, spend one’s time.
I had already known about the difference between “waste time” and “spend time” when I met “pass time”. So, I’d like to share with theory with you, I hope it will be useful.
Spend one’s time:
to use time doing something or being somewhere or to use time with an aim to get any result:
I think we need to spend more time together. My sister always spends ages in the bathroom.
Waste one’s time:
to use time without getting any result, with unnecessary things: I waste my time surfing in the Internet.
Pass one’s time: I found this while I was doing English test for the exam. There was the text about the group of people who were exploring a cave. One of them injured his leg, so they had to stay in the cave for one more night. To pass the time, they started telling stories while they were waiting for the tutors. so, you should use it when you are waiting for something and you need to “kill” the time, to make it run faster.

It seems as a great topic, as most members of ENS are from developing countries, e.g. I am from India and you are from Russia, both of which are developing countries. It’ll be great if a person from a developed country could join to give his/her views. Interesting topic though. :)

When I was watching to this video my brother told me one interesting fact: “There are a lot of crimes in the places with unattractive regions\places ets.” What do you think about it? Do you agree with this statement, why\why not?
Hi, what a marvellous project, I got completely astonished when I saw this video, a simple but a smart idea converted an ugly shantytown into a beautiful neighbourhood. I agree with the fact that the number of crimes is more significant in regions where places are unattractive, I think that colors influence positively the psychology of people so they will be less tempted to commit crimes
