About Joaquins De Santos [Spoiler]

There is this crazy theory floating around that he was killed b/c he was gay. That’s bull. And you know it. We have Toni, Kevin, Kevins Boyfriends, Cheryl, ... They all are still alive. Joaquin was written out off the show in S1 and came back b/c he is a fan favorite that was useful for the story. Nothing else. They could have introduced a new character, but decided to use him instead.

That said, I think the show goes into the right directions. Most shows, including Riverdale S2, have a problem. They can’t let go and more and more people need screentime just to say something lile «Cool» or «Buffy is right.». That messed up shows like Gilmore Girls and Buffy before.
