Maybe because you have this perfect idea for your own OC but no matter how good you are you can never tranfer the image in your head to the art 100% which makes you slightly dissapointed at your art. But someone else's OC's are more fun because no matter what or how you draw them the person who has the OC will always be gratefull and happy you did it making it more reawrding and fun to do. (Just a theory)

Actually I think you’re right ^^ I do enjoy it when people are grateful to me. And if they enjoy my work, it makes me so much happier ;o; I love connecting with people and drawing things for them because when someone is happy I just sit there and flail ;U;

My biggest purpose in art is to grow in skill and master anything I can. Constantly getting better.But my second focus is to make people happy, and making someone DIRECTLY happy is much more rewarding than drawing canon characters ;u;

I just like my art putting a smile on someone’s face…I’ve never had someone look up to me, or if I do they’ve never said anything

That’s also another goal of mine, for someone to tell me my art is what helped through dark days…or put a smile on their face in times of sadness…

Some day I’ll be a senpai ^^ when I get better~
