A very unfriendly reminder

Gwynriels have been talking about the dusk court theories, the gwyndion, illyrian plot theories etc ever since 2021...I have had experiences with e/riel on reddit and stuff WHERE THEY ARGUED AGAINST THEM. I have screenshots....it's after CC3 came out they went back on their own words to forcefully fit their ship in it...just like they are now doing with the musical imagery, the elain has trauma thing, the elain actually does find Lucien hot thing, the spark thing etc...this the pattern with them and I'm never letting them forget it...

Actually that is not the truth Ellen. A prominent elriel who was bullied out of the fandom by gwynriels throughout 2022-2024 started posting about the dusk court on tumblr in February 2021. Here was her first commission about it in October 2021. Maybe you are new here, but do you research before you start posting straight up lies.

Antis: we’re the only ones who discuss and theorize about Elain as an individual character and not just as part of a ship.

Also antis: can’t think of a single theory for Elain outside of her hanging with the BOE and defeating Koschei because that’s the only plot point they think she’s connected to.

Us: theorize Elain—

Will wield the harp

Will heal the blight in the land

Is a lifesinger/omnisinger

And guess what!! None of these theories are dependent on Azriel. But sure, we are the ones that don’t discuss her as an individual character outside of our preferred ship…

It’s so disorienting to see everyone so interested in Elain all of a sudden.

As though Elriels and Archeron sister stans (heavy on Elain) haven’t been screaming this from the rooftop for years.

We’ve had theories we were mocked and doxxed for. Laughed at for. There have been lists circulated of the worst takes and worst theories with our theories listed.

And now I’m seeing our theories being shared and spread (too often without crediting those of us who have been in the trenches for years fighting for respect on Elain’s name).

The club is closed.

It’s too late.
