@ElonMusk, I was incredibly hurt to read your hateful comments about the successes of public transportation. The people I ride Metro with here in #LA with everyday are our neighbors, and implying that transit users are serial killers is problematic. #LosAngeles was once a transit rich rich region, until corporate greed removed the ubiquitous networks to get more people owning private automobiles. It's a known FACT that Americans spend too much time alone in their cars. This has greatly facilitated driving us apart and diminishing our understanding of one another. #Transit brings us out of our bubbles and closer together, something I think the world needs more of these days. I hope as you further develop #Loop, that you'll consider prioritizing the mobility of 10 million #Angelenos in an urban context over large, space consuming private automobiles.
