The blonde smiled at the fly when it buzzed, seeming to turn to look at Caitlyn before it flew off “I suppose he was worried because he only lives for a few days that he’d spend most of it in your hair” she chuckled “But no harm done” she reassured with a soft nod.

“No, I can’t say that it would be a nice thing for anything to be stuck in somebodies hair like that. Maybe I should lay off on the gel.” He replied patting his hair just a bit. “Well that’s a good thing to hear. Sorry I sounded a bit cranky, haven’t had coffee.”

“I was trying to free the little guy, he was stuck on your hair gel, I could hear his distress” The blonde corrected, shaking her head, then holding up her finger to show a fly perched on it. 

“You could hear his distress?”He asked sort of confused before he looked at her finger where the fly was. “Oh well, I’m really sorry you got stuck there, I do tend to use a lot.” He said to the fly. “Never thought I would be saying sorry to a fly.”

“I would never!” Caitlyn gasped at the very thought, nearly squeaking in upset at the very thought “Why you would need to swat at a fly is beyond me, they mean no harm…”

“Wow, I was only asking because people don’t normally touch somebody else head unless there is a fly on it.” He said before pausing. “It’s the hair isn’t it? You were touching my hair, that I am used to.”

Jace normally was in a world all to himself, especially when he was just sitting around reading the newspaper. One thing he didn’t like while in his little world was people touching him with no warning. He was busy reading about the mayors disappearance when he felt somebody touching his head. “Excuse me? Please tell me there was a fly on my head and you were just trying to swat it away.”
