“I seriously thought you would be over that by now, over us I suppose.” He shrugged doing his best not to be completely ignorant. “In my opinion completely heartless would be not telling you and pretending everything was okay between us and lead you on. Instead I told you myself the morning after but believe what you want. “

A giggle escaped the brunette’s lips as she nodded. “Right, unless someone comes home with you.” Her eyes met his after he winked, a small smirk appearing on her face. She couldn’t help but be attracted to him- he seemed to know exactly what to say. “Have you really? Or are you just saying that?” she asked, bumping her arm against his playfully. “It can be very rough,” skylar sighed, looking down at the spilled tea on the floor, “but it would be much less rough walking with you.”

“Wouldn’t say it if it wasn’t true,” Cole grinned handing over her things following her gaze to the mess on the ground. “Let’s get out of here before someone knows we’re being lazy.” He laughed before guiding her back on the path to class. “I’m more than happy to make the morning less rough. Thankfully this is my only class for the day then I just have to get all kinds of tedious things down that take time. What about you is this the start of a full day?”

“I’m sure you didn’t. All girls probably look the same to you.” she said referring to him cheating on her a while back. Serena rolled her eyes as she folded her arms. “Yeah, I have been trying not to come around you.”

“Completely false there babes,” he replied shaking his head at her knowing that she wouldn’t change her tone with him. “I can definitely tell girls apart and they are all definitely not the same.” Of course he figured she would avoid him but admitting wasn’t the best thing to hear. “Well you don’t really need to do that. I know we’re completely over but I’m not going to be heartless towards you.”

A laugh escaped Micah’s lips as he heard the other’s comments, “You serious? I thought this look eh. I’ve seen people make better things from IKEA than this.” He shrugged his shoulders with a small smile curling at the corner of his lips. “I made it through my blood, sweat and tears.” Micah joked as he gave the other a playful smile. 

Jason did his best not to laugh at the other’s response trying to be as encouraging as possible. Of course he was being a little sarcastic from the beginning but the last thing he wanted was to make the other feel bad. “Hey all that matters is that you like it. And if it’s able to be used without being a hazard to your well being. At least you did the damn thing though. What is it supposed to be again?”

Serena was walking to her house before hearing the very unique voice of the boy, she didn’t know whether to keep walking and ignore him or stay, she chose the section option. “I know, I can’t help but look this good all the time.” she said bluntly throwing her arm in the air slightly.

“Shit I didn’t know that was you,” Jason grinned not surprised that he would hit on his own ex-girlfriend. “You always do look good,” he teased even though that could have negative repercussions. “So what’s up how you doin’, been a minute since we talked last.”

“Holy shit,” he breathed amazed at the sight before him not even sure how to really respond. “I don’t know how this is possible but believe me I’m impressed. Literally don’t think I’ve ever seen something so perfect. How did you make this happen?”

Skylar laughed a little and glanced up at him, trying not to give away the fact that she knew just what he meant. She had woken up in someone else’s bed too many times to not feel satisfied after a party. “A party’s no fun if you leave the night of,” she breathed, her eyes wandering his body. He was attractive, almost all of the Theta boys were, but there weren’t too many boys on campus that made her stop and stare. “We love when you come to our parties, trust me. It makes us feel like we’re throwing good ones. Plus, we always have the best music.”

“Unless you take someone home with you from the party,” he teased back giving her a playful wink. Of course he knew this girl was one of Serena’s sisters that didn’t mean she was off limits to him. “Trust me we wouldn’t be there if they weren’t good. I won’t lie I’ve consulted a couple of your sisters before to make sure our playlists were just as good. Could I walk you to class? I understand how rough the morning commute can be.”

Skylar’s eyes widened, “Of course I have!” she exclaimed, as if she was talking to royalty. “I go to your parties like all the time! Seriously, every one, I’ve been there,” she felt bad that she hadn’t recognized him. she had heard his name a bunch of times, but she had never been able to put a name to the face until now. “I’m Skylar, I’m in alpha delta pi and it’s a total honor to meet you.”

The reaction was more what he was expecting in the beginning but he wouldn’t hold that against her considering his reputation was known more than anything. “Now that is what I like to hear, the fact that you keep coming back shows you’re always left satisfied. Whether that’s the same night or the next morning either way you come back.” He teased knowing that the opportunity to spend the night with a girl as attractive as her wasn’t the type of thing you would pass up. “Skylar, I’ve been to a few parties of yours myself. Always have to give back to the girls who show us such loyalty.”

Skylar pulled herself together, making sure she had all of her things and that she didn’t look like a complete idiot. She glanced up at the boy and gave him a small smile. “Yeah, I’m good,” she replied, extremely embarrassed. “Do I? You don’t look all that familiar- you are very cute, though. Where do I look familiar from?”

“Really I don’t look familiar,” Jason laughed trying not to act like he was surprised that someone didn’t recognize him due to his social status. “A lot of pretty girls come through my house maybe I have you mixed up with someone else. I’ll introduce myself as Jason but most people know me as the president of Theta Chi, ever heard of that?”

“Way to obvious,” she chuckled. “Depends on what she was wearing. I danced with a lot of guys that night. May have danced with you, but I honestly don’t really remember.” 

“Well I also danced with a lot girls that night but this one I would like to encounter again.” Cole mused playing along trying to act like he might have forgotten this specific interaction. “I believe she was wearing black mini skirt made of leather. Maybe a bright crop top to complete the outfit. The thing I won’t forget was the amazing perfume she was wearing.”

“You want to go get tacos? Okay, you have a fair enough reason.” She hummed softly as she nodded her head. Moving her hair behind her shoulders she looked at him as he looked up, a small smile curling at the corner of her lips. “Yeah? Then let’s go! Nobody is going to miss us if we skip a few hours.”

“You gotta drive though, I may or may not have indulged in an edible before coming here.” Cole admitted feeling himself laugh knowing the effects were going to hit him harder as time went on. “I’ll pay if that makes the deal more fair. All I want right now is some dope tacos. Who cares if anyone notices we’re gone?”

Welcome to the life of Jason Abraham Berkowitz! In a nutshell he’s the son of a financial banker (father) and independent real estate agent to the 1% (mother). Jason’s parents met when his father was shopping for a new apartment after divorcing his first wife. Instantly sparks flew and Jason was the reason they got married (shotgun wedding much?) but they found love in each other and raising their son. Jason has three older sibling he only sees when he has to but a little sister he cherishes more than anything. 

As a child he grew up in the lap of luxury tacking all kinds of vacations and never needing for a thing. Unlike most children in his situation he did have rules to abide by and his family’s Jewish faith laid core values to apply to his life. 

The decision to attend Alabama was a no brainer simply for his adoration for football wanting to be immersed in the atmosphere. From the moment he stepped on campus he felt more alive than ever indulging in everything college had to offer.

While in high school Jason easily fell for Serena treating her like a queen from the moment they met. Everyone believed they would last forever and even have the perfect family, then college happened. Jason was like a kid in the candy store and with their opposite schedules he found himself entranced by the ladies who showed him attention. Rather than pretend like things were okay he told her and accepted their relationship was over. 

From this point on he accept the playboy lifestyle. 

When it came to greek life he knew it was something he would look into considering his parents’ personal background. Theta Chi gave him no legacy relation but he felt the energy his father would explain when reflecting on his own fraternity experience. Quickly he saw the vision the current president had for their chapter and vowed that he would make it possible during his time. 

In terms of his education Jason felt a draw towards a medical field following his grandfather’s unfortunate battle with cancer. Although he is reckless and acts out he is serious about his education and applies himself when needed. Following graduation he hopes to work with a research team to discover advanced treatments or a possible cure for cancer. 

Overall Jason is a reckless individual with a bedrock of values and beliefs that bring him back from the brink. With a goal in mind he vows to be here for a good time rather than a good time.

Skylar was walking to her morning class, her head pounding from last night’s party. She had woken up passed out in her own bed, not sure how she got back there, but glad she did. Her hand was wrapped around a water bottle she had filled with some kind of tea that supposedly made the headache go away, her other hand carrying her purse. She wasn’t paying attention as she walked, focusing instead on trying to remember what happened last night, and she tripped over a rock or something on the ground-her tea and bag flying out of her hands as she landed on the floor. “Shit,” she muttered, desparately looking around to see if anyone had seen her.

The worst part of morning classes was simply that, going to class. Something that always made the morning brighter was admiring the people that also had to endure the struggle of higher education. When she suddenly took a spill he smirked as he made his way up to help pick up her belongings. “Hey you okay,” he offered recognizing her face from a couple of his parties and other events. “Pardon me but you look extremely familiar.”

“Too obvious that I was admiring you,” Jason teased getting up from where he was sitting to move closer. “Honestly I was trying to figure out if you were one of the girls I shared a dance with at the last party I hosted. I didn’t see a face so I was trying to see if I could figure it out by checking you out.”

“Why don’t we just go get tacos? I’m sure you don’t have all the ingredients for any recipe and going to the grocery store to get it would just add to the time it would take for us to eat them.” Jason responded finally looking up from his phone. “Now that you put the idea of tacos into my head I’m starving.”
