Adonis, tr. by Khaled Mattawa, Selected Poems
I kept chasing dreams that aren’t mine.
I kept chasing wealth that I don’t need.
I kept chasing a lifestyle that isn’t true to me.
I was living someone else’s life.
And I was suffering
kill me
a smoke
why is everyone disappointing
all of them. bad days are coming back.
i started crying to sleep again
self harming again
losing my tons of my hair again
inferiority complex kicking again
rotting in my bed all day again
not motivated to study again
I'm losing everything, again. hahah

ok but honestly, i’m enjoying harvard’s philosophy lessons.
