New Horizons Week 23

I survived another week, and I decided to continue to walk outside whenever I have the time and energy. I have less time to play New Horizons, but this game (and Pokémon Champions) is still part of my daily routine. Anyways, wedding season looks interesting.

I participated in the online event in Champions, and I managed to make it to about 150,000th place, give or take a couple ten thousand. Not the worst experience, will continue to participate the later ones.

Started my battle with Ryme with the wrong foot. But as soon as I got the right Pokémon out, I quickly turned the fight around and, while not steamrolling her, I beat her with little loss.

Annoying Time at the Pharmacy

Finally got the message saying that my medicine is ready to pick up. My mom had a busy week, so she just gave me her debit card and dropped me off so I can grab my medicine myself. There was a long line, which is fine, it happens. The line was so long, in fact, after a while a worker stepped out to grab up everyone's information so that everyone's medicine are already pre-packaged so to hopefully speed things up. When I get to the front, it turns out my medicine was not actually ready for pick up, so I was told to step to the side to get the line moving. *This* is what actually annoyed me. The same thing happened to the person behind me. Up until this point the line was silent, but seeing a second line starting to form got everyone to start talking to each other.

After another wait, I was finally able to get my medicine. I knew that I was actually lucky, because I saw someone else get told to return on Monday for their medicine. Since I actually got what I came for, I was merely annoyed rather than truly upset. Unfortunately, other stuff happened today that kept me annoyed, which I don't feel like mentioning

Sneasler is Made of Glass

Had something of a frustrating day, and playing Champions did not help. I started with six losses in a row, several more losses after a single win, a three-win streak, and I finally ended on a losing streak. Why am I doing this to myself, I should have stopped when I first broke that streak.
