How you used ICTs to be part of a social movement, change, or illustrate aspects of digital citizenship?
As digital natives, we encounter different topics and discussions online. With the use of ICTs, we are able to be part of various social movements. Filipinos are one of the active users of internet around the world. So active that even the smallest piece of information tends to be a big deal when conversation and exchange of ideas occur. I am one of those who have different social media accounts like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, where I find different topics where I learn from and even share my own ideas too.
Opinions are great way of opening conversation within the online community. Various topics and issues are often debatable almost everywhere in social media. There is nothing wrong to share your thoughts with others, just make sure that you are not stepping on others' ideas and feelings. It is nice to exchange thoughts with other people, you get to share what you know, you get to share your thoughts and feelings, and you get to learn from others as well.
ICTs should make our life better by conversing within the online community harmoniously. The keyword is, we just need to respect each other. We have to be accountable of what we share and post online. We should be aware of the dos and don'ts of the online world.
