I don't really frolic in flowers. . . but I'll pose next to em. Witnessing the dramatic season changes in Texas are quite an experience. Two weeks ago everything was barren, brown, and cold. Seemingly overnight the grass, flowers and trees sprang to life after a few thunderstorms rolled through the area. It has now been a full year since moving out here to the Dallas area in Texas. One tradition that we have picked up is taking Easter photos in a field of bluebonnets. From what I have heard is that they only bloom for a few weeks in the spring, so the family and i took advantage of the great weather to snap some photos. Im just trying to squash these tan lines. 👀 Venturing out toward the Dallas area I discovered a new mountain biking area called Boulder Park. As far as my expectations. . . I was blown away by how awesome this park was. Beautiful, well maintained, challenging mix of skill levels, elevation changes, and park features all are all fitting descriptions of the area. Denim and plaid? 🤔 seems like it can work. While I was out in Colorado last month, my wife and happened upon this spot called Georgetown Lake. We saw people pitching small tents and ice fishing out on the ice. It looked interesting so we took a detour to take a closer look. As we weighed the risks of walking out onto an icy sheet, we first got a few photos from the dock. Eventually, our curiosity won out and we decided to step out on the ice. Now I don’t recommend just going out on any ice sheet just to capture a few photos, but I will admit it was a unique experience. It was similar to trying to walk on a normal ice rink however, the difference is the ice is not completely flat!
