OUR FAM VACA AT KALANGGAMAN ISLAND, PALOMPON LEYTE🌊☀️

Family vacations are always special because they give us time to relax, bond, and create memories together. One of the most unforgettable trips we had was our visit to Kalanggaman Island in Palompon.

We started our journey early in the morning and traveled to Palompon. After registering and preparing our things, we rode a boat going to Kalanggaman Island. During the boat ride, we enjoyed the fresh sea breeze and the beautiful view of the clear blue water. Everyone was excited because it was our first time visiting the island together.

When we arrived, we were amazed by the island's white sand and crystal-clear water. The long sandbar stretching across the island was one of the most beautiful sights we had ever seen. We took many photos, walked along the shore, and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. The island was clean, quiet, and perfect for relaxation.

One of the best parts of the trip was swimming in the clear water. We also enjoyed eating lunch together while enjoying the beautiful view of the sea. Spending time with my family without worrying about school, work, or other responsibilities made the experience even more meaningful.

As the day came to an end, we watched the sunset and appreciated the beauty of nature. Before leaving, we took one last walk along the sandbar and promised to visit again someday.

Our family vacation in Kalanggaman Island was truly a memorable experience. It gave us happiness, relaxation, and quality time together. More than the beautiful scenery, the best part of the trip was sharing the adventure with the people I love. It is a memory that I will always treasure and never forget.

2. Sutukil dish in Sutuwaki Ormoc comes from a simple Visayan tradition where fishermen cook their fresh catch in three ways which is sugba (grilled), tula (soup), and kilaw (ceviche). It started as a practical and communal way to enjoy seafood at its freshest, which Sutuwaki Ormoc later turned into a signature dining experience.

3. The Piña Festival in Ormoc City celebrates the sweet pineapple and the hardworking farmers who turn sunny fields into a source of pride and joy. Through colorful dances and music, the city tells a happy story of gratitude, abundance, and a community growing strong together just like the pineapple itself. Pinya!

A Day in My Life as a Tourism Student

Hello everyone! :D

My name is Joelliane S. Sode, a 3rd year Tourism Management student at STI College Ormoc. My days begin quietly, at dawn. On weekdays, I wake up early to prepare breakfast and feed our pets before leaving the house. Before chasing my dreams, I make sure my home is taken care of.

I ride a tricycle on my way to school, watching the city slowly wake up with me. As a 3rd year Tourism student at STI College Ormoc, every class teaches me not just lessons, but patience, and passion for the hospitality industry.

After a long day of classes, I walk with my friends going to the terminal. We talk, laugh, and share stories before heading home. These simple walks remind me that the journey is easier when shared.

On weekends, life slows down but my goals keep moving. At dawn and sometimes at dusk, I walk or jog at least 12 kilometers with my sister. Step by step, we move forward stronger in body, calmer in mind, and more focused on our dreams.

This is my daily life. Simple, tiring, but full of purpose. One step at a time, I am becoming closer to my dream. 💛
