i tried to think of how to phrase this so much before i started writing it but the truth is. i can’t. there’s no way to phrase the way that i feel right now because there aren’t any words. i may not practice my religion, but today is a day where i feel especially close to it, and even the thought of something like the bombings in sri lanka rips my heart into pieces and makes them do backflips. i can’t begin to think about going through something like that, much less in a church, praying. i wish that i were older, and that i had more ways to help and to offer support but for now i can only use my words. i’m so...hurt, honestly, by this and my heart goes out to all those affected by this💔💔

Cardan starts to call Jude “Jude, Dear” almost exclusively

In meetings, at revels, whatever and wherever.

“You look lovely, Jude Dear”

“Can you pass me that file, Jude, Dear?”

“I love you, Jude, Dear”

It’s not demeaning. Just like full of care and adoration

To Cardan, it’s almost become Jude’s real name

She’s bothered by it at first, just hoping that Cardan would stop taunting her. Eventually, she realizes that he doesn’t mean for it be belittling and grows to like it. And it also helps her identify when something is wrong with Cardan because instead he’ll call her by her name. (Mostly in common spaces when he can’t outright say something’s off)
