Tomorrows the day. Bicep surgery and the beginning of the recovery so I can get back to the job I love.

Spoilers ahead. First episode of Ashoka was very well put together. I think the casting is spectacular and I was so excited to see the droid Jedi master( who’s name eludes me at the moment.). I can definitely tell they are building to something big.

Well finally got my time for surgery and definitely started to bruise. Ugh I can’t wait until I get the surgery and finally start the recovery from this.

Well I finally got the surgery date and everything is moving forward. To say I am nervous would be an understatement. Last night I was talking to my son and told him that I wouldn’t be able to move or use my arm for a while. He told me that’s okay I will help you with heavy stuff until you are super strong again.

Wow, well the rest of my year has taken a major turn. Yesterday I was lifting something for my mom and I tore my bicep. Needless to say it’s not how I planned to spend my year. I have to have surgery to repair the tear and restore full function to my arm. This really sucks because now I can’t go back to work for months. I’m a firefighter paramedic and we are already short staffed so this makes it worse. My department has been very supportive but man it sucks. But I figure I can use this time to chronicle my journey through this.

So I know I need to hear it a lot but remember my friends. She does love you, they don’t hate you, it will workout and you will have your best life. I know it’s hard to see it and your brain is telling you that your worthless and don’t matter but you do and you always will matter.

Wow I finally am reading Heir to the Empire and I’m using the audiobook. Marc Thompson is such an amazing reader. Also I finally got hogwarts legacy, all I can say is wow. More to come my friends
