More art inspired by ‘Stop Me’ by @megadoomingir

Predaking is so baby boy baby in this fic, I love him. He is, however, an excellent example of TFP’s over-designing problem. Trying to break him down into easier shapes is so difficult when he’s 90% spikes and 10% dark colours that bleed together. Slowly getting the hang of him though, this isn’t bad for a first time drawing him in my opinion. Love him and his interactions with the other characters, him calling the other predacons his buffoons endeared me to him even more.

Also love that his arms look like poet’s sleeves a little, fancy man.

I loved your Shockblurr art on 🦋! Could you post it here too?

Ah! Thank you so much! I'll admit, I've been forgetting to post on tumblr, BlueSky has a bit of an easier set up for me to use, but I should definitely get back in the habit.

Here is the Shockblurr art in question, for those who have yet to see it!

This doodle page mostly happened because I was trying to figure out how to draw the two of them, and in a VC with some friends I started making jokes about 'Shockwave didn't mean to crush Blurr, Autobot doors just Do That', and voila, new AU born! I imagine this Shockwave is carrying Blurr Cube around for a while, bot the best coping mechanism but he doesn't have a lot of options.

@megadoomingir ‘s "Stop Me" is so so so so SO good, I love it so much! Still working on my reread to get caught up to the recent update, had to draw everyone’s favourite bird and the terrible man who keeps harassing him <3

Oughhh I am SO eager for the final arc of this story, but at the same time I just never want it to stop! Rereading everything before the new chapters, being able to freshly recall all the growth and character moments, it was well worth it. I love 'Stop Me' so so so much.

To get a little personal here, as a victim of abuse myself, as someone who is only just starting to get away from those who hurt me, Starscream's characterization in this work really hits home. The turmoil, the uncertainty, the self-sabotage, but also the refusal to give up, the determination to better himself, the will to survive it all, it means so much to me. He's a character with flaws, who has done horrible things and has to face up to them, and he is allowed to grow and change and be loved, and love in turn. @megadoomingir did a beautiful job writing him and all the other characters, and I can't wait to see what comes next, and I hope Miko enjoys finally getting that jet ride she's been after.

"Waking up that morning, Henry could tell something was a bit off. He chalked it up to his scent blockers wearing off, given he hadn't really stopped taking them for a prolonged time in years, but it still felt strange, like a steady pressure in his hips. Grumbling a little, he got up and got ready, being careful to avoid Everly's family as much as possible. They still weren't all that pleased with him as the Lanyon's Beta. If only they knew he wasn't, not anymore. Shaking his head a little, he passed by the entrance to the sitting room, pausing to look inside. Everly was smiling, wide and strained, as her cousins crowded her to ask about her husband, and her aunts pinched at her cheeks and tutted about her chubbiness. Her brown eyes met Henry's, a silent plea to be rescued, to which the Omega shook his head with an apologetic smile. He hurried away before she could call attention to him, snickering softly to himself. The lady of the house would certainly get him back for this, but for now he needed to get to work."
