A promotional popcorn bucket and drinking cup from a chain of movie theatres in the US, decorated in the Everlasting goodness of the 2019 movie, with the gold, sparkly CATS logo and London landscape.

These were not available to me in Canada seeing the movie a trio of times in local theatres (before being pulled after three weeks), but I can now recreate the experience at home.

They are (likely one-off) prints of two of @jelliclehell's Cats 2019 art pieces made just for me, plus a bonus cute-as-all-hell caked up Victoria sketch.

It is special to me to have to 2019 Jellylorum and Tantomile art as a print, because it was a special request I made from jelliclehell a few years. Plus, those two are my faves from the movie, so I am very happy to have some great art of them. Keena (the artist) made them both look so damn good, and I love how they captured both queens.

The Mungo, Rumple, and Victoria art is really cool too, as it perfectly captures the scene from the movie in a unique art style. The colours and posing are wonderful.

You are very welcome Keena for the support. Thanks for letting me purchase these, and thanks being a friendly contact in and out of the Cats fandom for years at this point.

I want to make CATS 2019 stickers to sell at conventions. because as much as I try to deny it I do love this film so dearly.

BUT: there's a couple different styles I can potentially draw these guys in. and I cannot choose which would be best.

Chibi, cute, maybe not immediately recognizable as CATS 2019 characters but easily accessible to anyone who likes a cute cat in a top hat.

toony anthro cats. more feline, less human. this would be popular with the furries, but again, might not be immediately recognizable what they are from.

humanoid cgi fur hellbeasts. I imagine most sales will come from people giving them to a friends as a Look How Cursed This Is gift. but the freaks like me will appreciate them.

I don't really have a preference myself. I just want to make things that people would like.

the verdict is out. I shall begin construction of these beasts shortly.

making these is gonna take a while (I have a ton of other projects I'm working on) but I DO want to make a huge pack with every character! that way I can also put their illustrations together and potentially make a print of them all

since it's going to take a while, I'll be working in sets, but I want to sketch all the poses first to make sure they're all dynamic and work together. so stay tuned for those.
