This week’s Females of Metal Friday is the vocalist Bettie Floyd, singer for the Symphonic power metal band Valkyrie's Fire.

Valkyrie's Fire is a symphonic power metal band formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 2023. In 2024 they released their first EP, Ascension. On September 18th, they will release their debut full length album, Out of Darkness.

Sharing vocal duties Andam Sanders, Bettie’s voice combines with Sam’s to create a unique vocal element to the band.

As a “new to me” band, I’ve enjoyed what I have heard so far. I look forward to their new material release in September.
