Black kids are traumatized by seeing things like deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile on the TV or social media. They are scared, they are terrified and they wanna know if they are next. And what do you even respond to questions like this? How do you tell your kid he’s not the next if you are not sure you would come back home the next day yourself?
