Jeroen Huijbregts launches ‘Wonderland’ at The Circle London

The Circle London are pleased to welcome Amsterdam based illustrator Jeroen Huijbregts to the UK for his first solo show in the capital. After more than 15 years in the creative industry, where he earned his stripes at various ad agencies, Jeroen decided to take a different route in his career and express his creativity outside his current working environment. Having always found a rich source of inspiration in the things that mattered most to him when he was a child: comic books, cartoons and movies from the 70s and 80s, his work consist of taking the iconic characters and scenes and reinterpret them in new, unexpected forms. This results in unique mash-ups, which are often sketched in a digital environment and later transformed onto paper. In this show he looks to take his work into many different pop culture mediums such as enamel pin badges, t-shirts and limited edition post card sets, as well as offering a selection of original drawings and posters. Further to this he has joined forces with tattoo artists Mike Boyd and Dicky Evans to enable clients to get his work tattooed on them from a limited edition tattoo flash sheet of Jeroen's designs.

Wonderland launches at The Circle London, 21 Noel Street, W1F 8GP on June 1st and runs until July 3rd 2016
