For my instagram and tumblr peeps who did not see this on the Facebooks... In 1987, I stumbled into NYC for the beginning of a noble adventure: a career as a freelance photographer. I’d saved up a bundle of cash over the previous year at my first full time job out of Ohio U.—at a studio in Cleveland. Ahead of me was 31 years of freewheelin’ freelancing, chasing and sometimes living the dream. Now today, I embark on a new adventure: I am grateful and honored to join the photography team at Arhaus Furniture. A few of my pro phodog peers will understand the emotion that accompanies the move from calling the shots to being a full-time employee. I leave much behind and unfinished. But there is so much to gain and learn from the next chapter in my story. New possibilities await, both practically and artistically. It is the end of my world as I know it, and I feel fine!
