i’ve seen some discourse about where q!juan’s bandana should go and while i do have some thoughts on that I think something we all (maybe) can agree on is that it sucks that q!multi got to decide what happened with q!juan’s belongings.

more thoughts below cause why not:

i don’t think it’s outrageous to say that q!juan’s belongings should go to either q!tina or q!foolish. i also think saying that doesn’t mean anyone is undermining q!graf and q!juan’s relationship or judging how anyone should/shouldn’t grieve.

the argument that q!juan went to the reactor to save q!graf has no weight in how close q!juan was with q!graf in my opinion. Q!juan’s final message emphasizes what the north means to him as a place to not be alone and to feel protected. based on those words i believe if the story had gone a different way he would have walked into that reactor for any of his friends.

so at the end of the day for me q!juans belongings should go to q!tina who from q!juans own words was the closest to a real sibling that he’s ever had. 🤷‍♀️

I know it's all for fun and roleplay but it does really make me sad that they asked specifically foolish to travel so far and build a giant temple knowing it would take weeks of work only to ignore him the entire time he worked on it while he was also juggling five other plots like the haiper cure and north mansion only to invite other ccs to destroy it while he couldn't even log in. He hasn't even had time to explore the new mods or anything and now they're rushing him to finish it for other people's lore. Why would you ask a cc to commit themselves so much to a server just to treat them like that yk :/

Even to add on to it if you've been following foolish for a while you know he got burnt out on big builds because of his titian from the first server getting abandoned immediately after it was finished along with other servers griefing that made him not want to do it anymore. It just feels cruel that his only way to be involved with the plot is making him do something he's struggled with being motivated for in the past.

cc!Foolish is an incredible role player and to see his role in the server reduced to just a builder is so sad. Like why is his lore progression behind such a crazy roadblock when others just get shit handed to them.

That prison could have been literally anywhere else on the server and it could have slowed the story line down a bit and also would have explained why the dark workers powers were weaker. q!multi got nacho back, got the waypoint to the temple, and got to snitch on q!foolish and q!ewron to the feds all at once.

q!juan literally leaving q!foolish half his heart as a symbol of hope for him to keep going after both of them went on the most beautifully developed and healthiest friendship arc the qsmp has ever seen

q!foolish W (and cc!foolish) for letting his character suffer in the narrative. I’d rather a million L’s than overly scripted W’s with plot holes and no stakes.

can i say it’s really frustrating hearing people using ooc stuff against an in game character? i really don’t like the narrative that certain characters on the server don’t care about their factions/ each other because the streamers themselves have other commitments irl or want to stream other games.
