has anyone found out what happens when your villager’s house hits zero?
i havent been online lately and if i lost some of my villagers then i dont see the point in even logging back in :/
You just can’t use them for professions until you repair the house. You don’t lose the villager or anything.

Honestly with how fucking screwy the rate is already, I’m hoping they actually reset the economy… I’d like to keep our pets if possible (maybe have them be inactive until we buy their villager slots again), but I’d love to see a lot of rework done to the economy to pump FC out of it and/or not allow so much money to enter it in the first place. Hopefully then FD prices won’t spiral out of control like they have already.
My issue with them resetting the economy is that people’s real money is unfortunately circulating within it already. People have used FD for items and services from other people and there’s not really any way to track that effectively, I don’t think. So if the economy is reset, people will lose not only the currency they have, but goods they may have purchased with real currency, which could cause serious issues.
Honestly, I think that’s kind of why they’re discouraging at least off-site trading right now. I’m sure that if it comes to it though, they’ve thought of ways to prepare for something like this. They also do note in their first announcement post though that they “don’t anticipate” having to reset FD, which honestly I’d be okay with so long as they find a way to balance FC so it doesn’t become so worthless so quickly.
As a side note, I don’t want to see this game become pay to win if FD is going to be so valuable. It’s one of the things I like about FR still; while dropping $20 might get you something nice or a good amount of money, you’re not automatically in the top tier of users. If this happens with FV, it will ultimately and eventually kill the game.
