BBC killed off Cat! I started my day off watching Lip Service. Find out like 25 mins in to the episode, she gets hit by a car and dies...DIES! She wasn't a strong character, but she was fuel to the fire. I'm thinking to myself, ppl are going to be mad as fuck if this is real. I hope it's a dream, it's a dream, a guilt dream for cheating on Sam w/ Frankie.
NOOOOOO! It's real as shit! Frankie, Tess, and Cat's brother can stay on the show. But Sam...has no purpose to be there anymore. WTF! I really didn't like Cat that much, but you become emotionally invested in a character like DAMN kill Tess then. There's a nuance I like to kill. It's like L word...Carmen leaves. God damn there was so much you can do w/ these characters and it is a shame b/c there is no where to go but downhill.
Jesus, I wish Lesbian drama/shows didn't have to be so much about eating pussy. PPl get it, we do that. Try something new that doesn't make being a lesbian/gay like it's positively random, like I actually walk five steps and "pop" I meet a girl who's really into eating pussy. Wow that's positively random OMG! Give it some purpose, some fucking meaning. I found that most of these damn shows just let the sexuality speak for itself when it really should be the characters. Let sex be a subtext to the story, a condiment to add flavor to excite and peak interest.
Grey's Anatomy has it better than L word! WTF! Lost Girl better than L word! OMG, The Good Wife...Kalinda Sharma played by Archie Panjabi, a secondary character, gets more ass from both men and women alike is more of an interesting character than any of the L word characters b/c she has a storyline. A damn good one too! Could care less if she's bisexual. She took a bat to someone's car, has a complicated relationship w/ a female FBI agent, is dealing with not getting shot by a drug lord, and had sex with her best friend's husband who is now going for State Governor. I'm sorry I forgot she is drop dead gorgeous w/ big ass Bette Davis eyes.
Kalinda has purpose, storyline, sexuality for condiment, and sexy as fuck! Two main words...purpose and storyline. It feels like I'm missing that and I'm only watching these shows as a favor to the rainbow flag. It will be soon enough if I don't get what I'm looking for from the ppl I thought would do a well enough job. I will stop supporting, if I want to see classy, fashionable, sultry sex I'll hit on over to Jincey Lumpkin's site Juicy Pink Box to see real lesbians have sex. I just hate that I live in an age where everything is just so new and everyone wants to jump on broad making a mockery or stupid storylines that make no sense. I guess at least they're trying compared to not seeing anything feeling more alone. I just expect more, but maybe I can suggest the bar or make the bar high enough for others to fall in place. Maybe, I'll write a book or something w/ my best friend if she's up to it. I've always to write something with her. She had more imagination than me, I've always been the reasonable one. I think she's always told me that I had a gift with words. Maybe it's time to start those ideas and make them real.
