Hi! I have 4 kids under the age of 7 incluI often canât find a full 30 minutes to exercise each day and certainly not an hour. ding a 3 month old. Is it still effective to do a few 10 minute sessions throughout the day or is important to keep your heart rate up and knock it out in one session? Thanks for your help and for your blog!
Hi, I bet that being a parent must be a workout in itself.
If you have the choice between a 1 x 30 min workout or 3 x 10 min one, I would recommend you to do the 30 min. Because it takes time for your body to warm up your muscles, so it would be better to perform your workout then.
Then again, it really depends on your schedule. My advice is, do what you can with what you have. Simply adjust your workouts accordingly. If you only have 10 min you can do one big circuit with little rest in order to keep your heart rate up and target your entire body. But if you have 30 min, you could take more time to target specific muscle groups.
I hope this will help.
