would anyone wanna do a readathon next week?
say from, the 24th to the 30th? in your own time zone, to keep it simple
basically we would just be trying to read as much as we can over the week, sharing updates, reviews, photos etc. and chatting amongst ourselves as we go
reblog if you're interested and if we get a nice contingent together, I'll make up a tag for us to use ^.^
READATHON IS GO!!!
y'all seem pretty keen so let's go for it ^.^
We'll start September 24th and finish on September 30th, in our own time zones
Read as much as you can from whatever books are on your TBR
Feel free to make any posts you like about your progress or what you're reading
Tag anything related to the readathon with "trcc readathon"
some completely optional prompts for people who would like them:
read a book about a disabled person
read a book by a transgender author
read a book by an author from the Southern Hemisphere
keep reblogging this version to spread the word and I'll see you all on Tuesday when things kick off 🎉
I’ve been struggling with reading physical books while healing from a concussion, so most of my reading the past few weeks has been audiobooks or graphic novels with shorter sentence structures.
This is your reminder that all forms of reading are valid.
💜
whats the fucking point of having laws if people can keep making led headlights
I feel this.

“if you take medication for that, you’ll be taking medication all your life!!” yeah, and?? bud, i already put on my glasses every morning. it’s like. a condition of mine, not a side hobby i’m pursuing irresponsibly.
and the thrilling sequel: “taking meds for that is the easy way out!” right you are my dude, i’m a huge fan of not making things harder than they have to be
the problem with reading and writing leading to a strong vocabulary is that you tend to know the vibe of words instead of their meanings.
if I used this word in a sentence, would it make sense? absolutely. if you asked me what it meant, could I tell you? absolutely not.
Lately I’ve been actually using my bookmarks that I get in albums. It is so satisfying when they match the vibes of the cover or story.
