Cal knew he wasn’t going to be able to erase the smile off his face now, “ Hey! Missy, you’re just important enough for me to take my time.” He replied laughing at her comment. He closed the door behind them, curiously opening one of the pizza boxes on the way to see what toppings she got. “ No way! How do you know I like broccoli in my pizza?” Cal asked extremely curious about how many things she got right. “ You know I wouldn’t imagine spending my birthday with anyone else? You’re way too cute.”

“And that makes me extremely grateful.” She smiled up at him, glad he was going to take his time and not rush things-- something she was afraid was going to happen. Settling down in the tent, Selena stacked some pillows up to lean herself against them, watching as Cal got overly excited for the pizza. “Well, I had a little help from your fans...” She admitted, biting down on her lip to hide her smile. “I think your excitement for this pizza is a lot cuter than anything else right now.”

“You know-- that sounds like a good idea. I’ve been locked up in a plane for hours I think we deserve to go out for a bit.” She smiled sweetly, starting to pack up her things as well. “I’m Selena, by the way.”

Calum couldn’t stop smiling, she was so adorable when nervous. When nothing prepare him for her surprise, as soon as she opened the door he noticed every single detail from the room, knowing it must’ve taken her some trips to the local store. “ Sel…” He finally looked at her,wrapping his arm around her, “ This is incredible sweet, best surprise ever!” The boy smiled widely, lifting her chin with his two fingers. “Thank you babe.” He mumbled before leaning in and placing his lips on top of hers.

She waited patiently for his reaction, and as if almost immediately, his face broke out into a smile and then his arms were suddenly around her. She chuckled lightly, wrapping her arms around his waist and pressing her chest against his. She wasn’t expecting her chin to be lifted, and as she looked into Cal’s eyes, the space between them vanished and his lips were suddenly on top of hers. Selena fluttered her eyes closed, smiling as she kissed him back, her hand coming to cup his cheek as her thumb brushed against his soft skin. She felt the butterflies in her tummy erupt, but she didn’t want to get too carried away, and pulled back from the kissed rather reluctantly. “About time you kissed me.” She teased, pecking his lips quickly so that he understood she was joking before lacing her hand with his and guiding him towards the tent.
