Harriet was a pretty looking girl, but that didn’t mean that Mason wanted to get with the girl. Mason wasn’t like that anymore. He was charming, sure, but that’s how he’d always been. Nothing was going to change that. He had a lot of girl friends back when they were students too. Girls thought he was interesting. Harriet was a close friend of his. She was a good co-worker. Mason wanted to make new friends at work. It made his days go quicker while working here. Mason’s attention turned towards the doorway as the door unlocked.
Mason looked to the doorway of his workplace to notice those very familiar looking blonde locks. At first she was smiling from ear to ear, but that soon turned into his girlfriend crossing her arms over her chest as her face dropped at the sight. It’s not like they were doing anything in here. Harriet was his friend. He wouldn’t. It wasn’t like that between them. He watched Angie go back out of the door instead of coming in. “Babe! Wait.” He got off his seat, and went over to re-open the door so that they could talk outside of his office. He shut it behind him - shutting Harriet in.
“What was that all about?” He didn’t get it. Angie came here to see him. Why was she leaving? “You came here to see me, right? What’s wrong? I’m here. I want to see you too.” He missed having his girlfriend around as much nowadays. He got to see Angie back at home, but she was always busy doing something work related otherwise. It was nice to have her in his workplace. Mason was thinking it was the Harriet being close to him thing. Angie didn’t seem to like it. He wasn’t going to fire his friend though. She was good at picking out talent. He admired that.
“Don’t just go. I’ve missed you.” Thankfully, Angie’s nonna came in handy with them both working. She didn’t mind looking after the baby while they were both earning money to look after everyone within the house. It worked out. She loved little Nyx more than anything else. Everything was working out. Angie was doing what she loved again. Mason was exploring talents, and writing songs, and helping people to record them. He loved working here.
Angie looked really good wearing all black from head-to-toe. She was absolutely stunning. Angie’s style reminded him of Sandy in Grease at the end with perfectly done make-up, curly-ish blonde locks, and a skin-tight bodysuit, with black leather pants, and that leather jacket. Everything about her look was amazing. He was in awe. He was punching well above his weight. Mason was checking Angie out in secret - his gaze dropped all the way down his girl, and then back up again. “I’m never too busy when it comes to you, baby - y’know that.”
Angela was pissed but she wasn’t going to show it at least not to those outside the office who seem a bit curious into why she hadn’t walked into his office as everyone expected. “ Mason...don’t. Well, I don’t want to see you anymore, so if you excuse me I’ll go visit my dad and then head out.” The blonde wasn’t sure why he hadn’t mentioned anything about the new girl but she didn’t like it at all.
“You’ve missed me? I don’t know it looks like brunettes are your thing right now, tell me, Mason, when were you going to tell me about your new friend?” She asked softly not wanting to create a scene, to whoever who walked close they were having a civilized conversation. “You know I don’t care, just don’t play innocent because you would be pissed too if a guy was ever that close to me.” She pointed out fighting the urge to roll her eyes at him.Â
The blonde was about to answer him where she heard her father’s voice calling. “ Sure.” She said sarcastically before turning around to greet her dad, who wasn’t alone. Right by his side was the tall guy she had bumped into earlier, although this time instead of looking slightly surprised he seemed a bit shy and embarrassed. “ Hey, I was about to stop by your office.” She faked a smile not wanting for him to realize what was going on between Mason and her. “ I couldn’t wait for you because someone was eager to meet you both." Mr. Muller replied in a tiring voice, “ This is Roger, he recently quitted his band and is ready to pursue a solo career. I was thinking Mason would be great to get his vision since they’re both close in age.” He continues to what Angela nodded still confused into what that had to do with her, “ Also he mentioned a pretty blonde in the lobby and pointed out at one of the photos of you at my office, that’s when I knew you were here, Angie. Roger wants you to be his muse for the album, the model to work with him for each video and most important the cover” The situation was almost comical, the boy her dad was talking about seem extremely embarrassed at the brutal honesty of her father.  His eyes wouldn’t leave Angie’s sight, “ Dad, you know I can’t take any job without talking to my team. Also, I have so many campaigns on the works and the Victoria Secret’s casting is coming up soon. I’ll consider but if it conflicts with anything I’ll have to decline the offer.” She looked back at Mason, “ I’m sure you have a lot to discuss with the girl inside your office and Roger, I’ll be at my dad’s office if you care.”
