biography
Self taught filmmaker Jarrod Frances Hachey has been more inclined to hone craft via directors commentaries and youtube masterclasses as opposed to classrooms. A rigidly formalist aesthetic makes for a handful of difficult and rewarding in equal measure works. Cold, quiet stories evoke the humility and character of astronomy; questions of our place in the world, and what it means to be a human, trapped inside of yourself; projected across the backdrop of an industrial class city on the impoverished side of the tracks.
