In the summer of 1983, in Pavagada, India, a series of incidents involving little girls being snatched from their beds from a wolf-like predator were reported, their bodies were found half eaten and unrecognisable. There are many theories on the perpetrator of these horrific acts , a wolf, a dog, a person or something in between, it's even debated whether these mysterious killings took place at all. Whatever the truth is the legend of 'The Wolves of Pavagada' has haunted the coastal town for more than 30 years.

so i was rewatching prehistoric predators and walking with beasts etc. and i was inspired to draw my favourite prehistoric predatory animals! Entelodont, a giant killer pig, hynaedon, an ancient hyena-like creature which was much bigger than it’s modern day predecessors, the cave bear, a large, fearsome bear, which of course lived in caves and the terror bird a large avian predator, some even towered over humans reaching about 9-10ft. Yeah i love them all hahah
